EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Falcon eData application allows for dematerialized distribution of aircraft databases and softwares. It
replaces CD Rom and Falcon portal distribution through the Software & Databases page.

INFORMATION
1. WHAT IS FALCON EDATA?
Falcon eData is a Falcon secured transfer service, allowing direct download of aircraft databases
and softwares from Dassault Aviation servers into the aircraft maintenance computer.
The service supports the download of the following databases:
ACMF
Electronic Check List
Fault Code Database
Status Page Consequence
Loadable Diagnostic Information
Aircraft Database Status in PDF format are also available.
2. BENEFITS
Falcon eDATA adresses operator’s concern about:
Simplified aircraft database management
(several types of databases in various formats and locations for multiple subscribers within
the company)
A seamless access to applicable aircraft databases
(a single access prevents from loss of original data or improper versions in case of AOG,
maintenance and commissioning)
Cybersecurity compliance
(EASA NPA2019-07, refer to Falcon eDATA Security Guide available on the Falcon Portal)
Under development:
Harmonized subscription management with FIELD (new feature to come in 2023)
Integration of other software and databases, such as router and cabin software
(available in the Software & databases section of the Falcon Portal)

3. EVOLUTIONS
Falcon eDATA evolves to version 1.1.0. At your next database(s) transfer the App will
automatically update on your internet computer. The update is automatically loaded on your
secured USB key and then installed on the maintenance computer.
This version introduces several fixes and improvements such as:
Fix for connection difficulty through the Falcon portal
Prevent issues when trying to open twice the same Aircraft Database Status
Add data logs for USB connection and writing
Make sure your version is up to date by consulting the about section in the application:
4. HOW TO START WITH EDATA?
All supported databases are available for download through eData in the Apps page of the Falcon
portal, so that you can familiarize yourself with the new service.

All existing subscriptions are now upgraded to Falcon eData under a unique publication number per

Function
New LDI and ACMF will be no longer uploaded on the Falcon portal. All existing versions will
be deleted within a month after this FSA’s publication.
In addition to the standard subscription, Falcon eData subscribers can still opt for receiving the CD-
ROMs (ECL, LDI, Fault Code Database and Ops Consequences) as a chargeable add-on to their
subscription.

The existing subscription to the database CD-ROMs was part of the standard documentation package
covered by the FalconCare program.
Consequent to the release of Falcon eData:
The Falcon eData standard subscription is covered by FalconCare,
FalconCare does not include the optional purchase of CD-ROMs.
