TEFAQ PREPARATION FOR QUEBEC IMMIGRATION

COURSE DESCRIPTION
• This program prepares you for the TEFAQ (TEF Quebec) test for immigration to Quebec, Canada.
• Program Duration: Depends on your current level and the level you wish to achieve. Refer to Table below.
• We are very exam-focused and we only cover topics (Listening and Speaking) that are tested in the exam.
• We use a proven and effective Accelerated Learning method to help you learn French 3-4 times faster.

CLASS DURATION, DAYS & TIME


• You can take French classes from Mon-Sun (depending on teacher availability).
• You can decide the duration of your class as a 1h, 1.5h, 2h, 2.5h or 3h lesson.
• You can also decide your preferred days for the class and how many times you want to have classes in a week.
• All lessons have to be scheduled in advance, with a 2-day advance notice.
• Give us a few options and we will let you know if your preferred slot is available.

BREAK TIME
• Our teacher is entitled to a 5 min break after every 55 min of classes.
• Actual duration of class minus break time: 1h (55 min) | 1.5h (1h25) | 2h (1h50) | 3h (2h45)

FACE-T0-FACE LESSON ON SKYPE WITH A PRIVATE TUTOR


• The program is delivered online through Skype with a private tutor.
• This program is an interactive session with a teacher; it is not pre-recorded video lessons.
• You can interact with your tutor as in face-to-face.
• To take this lesson, you need: a computer, a good internet connection, a speaker and a webcam.
• Skype is free and easy to install and use. To download SKYPE into your computer: www.skype.com/download
• We can assist you to install Skype if you need any technical assistance.

(d) Frequency of the lessons and Gaps between lessons
(e) Commitment & Available time for revision and homework on your own

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


• We cannot commence your lessons until we have received a proof of payment from you.
• For any cancellation/rescheduling, you must inform your tutor one day earlier by email/sms/phone.
• If this is done on the same day the lesson is scheduled, you will be charged 100% for that lesson.
• You can only reschedule 10% of scheduled classes with one-day notification.
• If you don’t show up at the scheduled time, your tutor will wait for 20 min and then leave you a message.
• If you are late, the teacher will still finish at the scheduled time.
• Purchased lessons that are not used within 6 months from the start date will be forfeited.
• There is no refund for unused hours.

TEST REGISTRATION & TEST DATES


• You need to register for the TEFAQ exam in an approved TEFAQ Test Centre closest to your place.
• While we can advise you on the nearest TEFAQ Test Centre, we cannot register for the test on your behalf.
• You are responsible for checking the registration deadline for your preferred exam date.

FREE TRIAL LESSON & REGISTRATION PROCEDURES


• If you want to experience how the class is conducted, you can take our free 25-min trial lesson.
• We need 2-3 days advance notice to set up a trial lesson.
• To register or book a free trial lesson, send us an email with the following details:

(a) Your name


(b) Your spoken languages
(c) Your current level in French
(d) Any previous French learning experience (school attended, books used, self-study, etc)
(e) Preferred day/time for trial lesson & regular classes if you register
(f) Your current location (country, city)
(g) Your contact details (mobile phone & Skype ID)
(h) Package you wish to take if you register

• After a trial lesson, if you wish to register, you need to tell us the package you have chosen.
• We will send you an Invoice with our payment details.
• You can then make payment to our account, and send us a proof of payment to start your French classes.
