After waking up on the island, the group splits up to explore. Daniella finds a cave system leading into the island. Abdul discovers a freshwater stream coming from the cave. They both radio the others about their discoveries.

THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND

CHAPTER 1
There is a group of researcher riding in a yatch in the middle of the sea.

OUTSIDE-AT THE BACK OF THE YACHT-NIGHT

A yatch with a quiet night in the middle of the sea.

INSIDE THE YACHT-NIGHT

A group of researchers were discussing an island that has never been found when a
thunderstorm unexpectedly arrived.
DALE
Urghhh.....Why is this island so hard to find?
ERICA
Because....No one has found that island yet.
DALE
Are you teasing me?
ERICA
No
DANIELLA
Stop you two!, you’re making too much noise.

OUTSIDE THE YACHT-NIGHT

The wind storm is too strong.


Abdul knew that there is a strong storm coming because of the strong wind and lighting.

ABDUL
OH! NO! I NEED TO ALERT EVERYONE.
So, he ran quickly to tell his companions to leave immediately. And he ran through the front of
the door, then, he reached the doorknob.

He heard an explosion and looked at the back.


ABDUL
What’s that?!
He saw a smoke at the side of the yacht. After it got struck by lightning.

OUTSIDE THE YACTH-NIGHT

After the yacht got struck by the lightning it created a big hole on the side.
The yacht slowly sink under the water and the people in there drowned.

EXT. TROPICAL ISLAND – DAY

The yacht got destroyed and landed on a shore, after they woke, the group disembarks. They
look around in awe at the lush, tropical vegetation and the mist that seems to be hiding
something deeper in the island.

ERICA
Urghhh..My head!
Daniella
Are you okay?
Erica
Yes
ERICA
(looking around)
This island is unknown.
Daniella
Yeah...Maybe this is the island they talking about.
The mysterious island.
ABDUL
(Wake up)
ERICA
(Stand up)
How about let's split up and explore this island.

DANIELLA
(nodding)

Sounds good. I'll head to the east.

ERICA
(pointing to the west)
Okay, I'll head that way.

ABDUL
Urggghhh...shit
(hesitant)
I don't know if I like that idea.

ERICA
(smiling)
Don't worry, Let's meet back here in two hours.

They get each radio then the group splits up and set off to explore the island.

EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

Daniella is making her way through the dense jungle. She is taking pictures and studying the
plants and animals around her. Suddenly, she stops on her tracks.

DANIELLA
(into radio)
Guys, I think I found something.

EXT. CAVE - DAY

Abdul is exploring a cave. He is shining his flashlight around, looking for signs of life. Suddenly,
he stops in his tracks.

ABDUL
(into radio)
I think I found something too.

EXT. BEACH – DAY


Erica is sitting on the beach, looking out at the ocean. She seems to be lost in thought.
Suddenly, she stands up and starts walking towards the jungle.

ERICA
(into radio)
I think I found something too.

EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

The group meets back at the spot where they landed on the island. They are all excited and
talking at once.

ERICA
(looking around)
What did you find?

DANIELLA
(excitedly)

I found a cave system that seems to lead deep into the island

ABDUL
(excitedly)

I found a freshwater stream that seems to be coming from the cave system .
