- Lizzie told Mr. Darcy that she recommends dancing to encourage
affection, even if one’s partner is barely tolerable.

inherit, he vanishes. Georgia is in despair. Naturally, Elizabeth is told
about this through Mr. Darcy's letter, and the actual occurrence is not
depicted in the film; rather, it is merely mentioned. What a horrible
situation!
9. "We are all fools in love," who said that?
- Charlotte says this to Lizzy when discussing Bingley's admiration for Jane
at the Netherfield ball. She tells Jane to act quickly and "snap him up" in
order to obtain an engagement for herself. She gave this explanation
because she thought Bingley may mistake her modesty and timidity for
disinterest because he did not know her as well as Lizzy did. If that is the
case, Charlotte argues, his love will undoubtedly be lost.
