Market Analysis

Fabindia
Most of the brands has not produced a separate ‘Work From Home’ collection, It is rather
handpicked from their existing collection depending upon the silhouettes and style that
needs be imparted in ‘WFH’ category.

Since it is handpicked, the trend does not follow any particular colour palette.
So the colour for this category has depended on colour palette of casual wear or Lounge
wear.

The articles are mixture of casual wear, that are comfort and easy silhouette oriented, and
some lounge wear that allow freedom to lounge in.

Conclusively, brand have more inclined towards tops and bottoms, along with dresses with
a fewer numbers.

Learning & Experience
And Key Role

My sixteen weeks internship programme at Medhya was really interesting as I could learn a lot as well as enjoy working within a business
establishment. Learning practically and being a part of a work provided the company was really an interesting and informative task. In this
process, I was able to see, understand and execute the process from procuring raw materials, designing. sampling. production, quality check,
packaging, and other departments. Medhya being a small organization, I got an opportunity to work with core design team for their upcom-
ing collection, my mentor always helps me with his valuable feedback.

I was appointed in the campany as a fashion design as well as textile design intern and corresponding role was given to me. It included every
task from print development to production of my apparel collection. Since the campany has an inhouse manufacturing unit, I was able to
observe every process from pattern maling to stitching and finishing of garments.
