MONTHLY WAGES

NOTES

(1) The pay-scales, given below are exclusive of dearness allowance which will be
admissible over and above these rates, according to Government orders issued from
time to time.

(2) These pay-scales are subject to change in accordance with the pay, fixed by the
Direction Committee of the Chief Engineers, in concurrence with the Govt. issued
from time to time.

(3) All classes of work-charged establishment which are likely to be employed in any
branch of the Public Works Department have been included in this chapter, except
some special type of staff, which is needed for the specialized projects. For these
projects, separate schedule for the employment of work-charged establishment, on
monthly wages shall be issued by the project authorities concerned.

(4) The pay scales given under col.3 are applicable w.e.f.1-1-1986.
