2 Getting Started
The first step in building an IEC 61850 implementation based on the source code library is to compile the
code for the target system. The distribution contains a top-level makefile, along with two files which
control the build process: compiler.mak and options.mak. The compiler.mak file contains macro
definitions which can be used to re-target the build to different compilers. The distribution code tree

General
