Step 1: Set up your devices
Turn on your PC and the router.
Connect the router’s LAN port to the PC’s LAN port using the network cable.
Ensure your PC’s LAN port’s IP address is configured to 192.168.1.10, where X can be any
number from 0 to 255 except 0, 1, or 255.

Step 2: Connect to router’s network
Disable your PC’s WiFi (you can do so by clicking on the WiFi icon located at the notification
area of your taskbar.

Step 3: Login to USR IOT
Open Google Chrome browser in your PC and type in this IP address: http://192.168.1.1/
Type in the following Username: root and Password: root

Step 4: Perform SIM card configuration
Click on Network SIM card
Under WAN Priority, select 4gfirst.
Click “Apply”, wait for it to finish applying then click “Save”.
Step 5: Perform WiFi Configuration
Click on Network Wifi
Click on Edit.
Under the General Setup tab, change the values of the following fields:
o ESSID: SSG_Site
o Check the Hide ESSID box.
Under the Wireless Security tab, change the values of the following fields:
o Key: E3WaterS
Click “Apply”, wait for it to finish applying then click “Save”.
Step 6: Configure WAN/LAN Port
Click WAN/LAN Port Select Mode
Under WAN/LAN, click on LAN.
Step 7: Change password
Click System Administration
Change Password of router to E4FlameH:
Click “Apply”, wait for it to finish applying then click “Save”.
Step 8: Perform a reboot on the router
Click System Reboot
Click on Perform reboot. You should see a “Please wait: Device Rebooting” message appear.
Immediately remove the RJ45 connector from the LAN port of the router and insert it into
the WAN/LAN port while the router is rebooting.
After the router has completed its rebooting, the PC will show you the USR IOT login page
again.
You should be able to login with the following. (Note that you will be unable to login with
“root”).
Username: root
Password: E4FlameH
Step 9: Check router’s accessibility to the Internet (optional)
This step is only applicable if you already have a SIM card in the router.
Open Command Prompt in the PC.
Type ping 8.8.8.8. (IP address 8.8.8.8 is Google’s DNS. If we get a response from Google
after pinging it, it means that the router is connected to the Internet.)
Connecting to router’s WiFi signal
If you require access to the Internet through the router, follow the steps below.
Connect an antenna to the “WiFi” port on the router.
After a few minutes, the LED lights indicating the router’s WiFi signal should light up.
On your device, click on “Other...”
Join the network
Name: SSG_Site
Security: WPA2
Password: E3WaterS
Go to Google and search for anything to check connection
