As a young person, you don’t have a long history yet, but you have an important heritage. This
assignment will take you on a journey to discovering who you are and how history has shaped your
life.
This assignment requires you to complete FOUR tasks.
Task 1: Who is your family and where do you come from?
You need to write an investigative report in which you research and
that your family / you have come to live in Cape Town / South Africa

You need to cover the following aspects in your response:
(a) The origins of your surname. You must also include the origins of your
name.
(b) Where does your family originate from? Has your family moved from th
origin? Explain the reasons for moving and / or consider where you live no
