A GRADE 10 HISTORY RESEARCH

ASSIGNMENT
2023

All About Me: A Personal Heritage Project

DATE OF ISSUE: 20 January 2023

DUE DATE: 24 April 2023

“Our heritage is both what we have inherited from the past, and what we will pass on to
those who come after us. But we don’t see everything in the past as part of our heritage.
We call it our heritage when we identify with it, and see that it has helped to make us
who we are today. So we construct our own heritage out of the past in ways which
make sense or are useful to us.”
