Directions
1. In pairs, one person is student A and the other
person is student B.

2. Student A cuts his/her sentence strips and lays


them face down in front of them. Student B
cuts their sentence strips and lays them face
down in front of them.

3. Student A goes first. He/She turns over a


sentence strip and reads the sentence aloud.
This is the invitation.

4. Student B then flips over a sentence strip and


reads their sentence aloud. This sentence
either accepts or refuses the invite.

5. The pairs go back and forth until there are no


sentence strips left.
STUDENT A STUDENT B
