1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 21, s.2023, BRIGADA ESKWELA 2023 Implementing
Guidelines, the Department of Education (DepEd) through Agusan del Sur School
Governance and Operations Division, sets this year's Brigada Eskwela on August
14-19, 2023 with the theme: "Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan".
2. With the issuance of DepEd Order No. 21, s. 2023, this year’s school
implementation is dubbed as “Tambayayong 2023” to envibe engagement of all
education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources in ensuring
that the school is all set in time for class opening. It is a six-day event where local
communities, parents, alumni, civic groups, local businesses, non-governmental
organizations (NGOs), private individuals, and even teachers and students
volunteer their time and skills for the conduct of clean-ups, minor to medium
repairs, and maintenance work in classrooms and within the school site.
3. The School BE 2023 Kick-off will be on August 8, 2023 at the school covered
court.
4. To ensure successful implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2023, members of the
School Brigada Eskwela Steering Committee have created and designated chairs
and members for the different BE 2023 Working Committees and Special
Committees. The list of which, along with their specific roles and tasks, is attached
with this memo

ADVOCACY & MARKETING COMMITTEE
Promote public awareness and encourage involvement in Brigada Eskwela by:
• utilizing the developed advocacy and marketing materials from the DepEd External
Partnership Service. To create the mode of campaign you may reproduce or
redevelop advocacy materials.
• conducting extensive awareness campaign and other marketing activities which
may include interviews/advertisement with local radio, television and newspapers,
posting of campaign banners, showing Brigada Eskwela music video, distribution
of other campaign materials and roadshows, such as Brigada caravan.

Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders to ensure clear
and timely dissemination of information, raise awareness about the event, and engage all
relevant parties to maximize participation and support thru:
• coordinating with other committees involved in the School Maintenance Week to
align messaging, branding, and communication efforts.
• monitoring and responding to inquiries, feedback, and suggestions related to the
School Maintenance Week from various stakeholders.

Provide administrative support and manage funds that will be generated in support of
Brigada Eskwela thru:
• ensuring that all financial assistance from both government and private sources are
used in accordance with applicable rules and regulations
• providing logistical support to volunteers such as but not limited to, work materials,
first aid kits, refreshments, etc.
• accounting the usage of all materials thru the conduct of daily inventory preparing
documents required for tax incentives availment by partners such as, but not
limited to:
a. memorandum of agreement
b. deed of donation and/or deed of acceptance

Prepare the necessary documentation and reports using the prescribed forms
• taking photos and/or video footages of activities, especially the improvements
done on the schools (before, during, and after photos)
• keeping and maintaining records and pertinent papers & documents
a. daily report on donations received
b. daily attendance of volunteers
• summarizing and consolidating the different BE forms as basis for drafting the
Brigada Eskwela school accomplishment report
