General A, Examine Make sure ‘the component is clean. After each disassembly. systematically discard alff screws, washers, seal, ball bearing or other parts found qamaged. For cracks, visually with a magnifying glass. For marks on the surface or damage by friction. For deterioration of the protective treatment : - corrosion, - loose or flaking paint. 2. Prt jury A, Fan Check for absence of cracks at attaching holes. Cfeck that parts do not show signs of friction or impacp. . Fan wheel Check for absence of cracks or signs of excessive ferosion hole at blades. Check for correct attachment of stator in its qpsing. Check for absence of scratches, signs of shock ang friction of the stator inner part. Check the electrical wire insulation sheaths and pfotection for condition. Check : The straightener (corrosion or cracks). Bearing seat. The inner diameter of the bearing (Refer to "FITS AND CLEARANCES” chapter). D.
