Essential Performance Outcome 4: Search voluntarily beyond readily available sources of

information, resources, and standard techniques to generate new understandings towards workable
solutions to existing problems. (LPO2)

II. STANDARDS

Content Standard:
The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of polynomials and polynomial
equations.

Performance Standard:
The learners is able to formulate and solve problems involving polynomials and polynomial
equations in different disciplines through appropriate and accurate representations

III. Most Essential Learning Competency/ies:

1. The learners perform division of polynomials using long division and synthetic division.
(M10AL-Ig-1)
2. The learners prove the Remainder Theorem, Factor Theorem and the Rational Root Theorem

IV. Intended Learning Outcomes/Objectives:

The learners must (EPO4) search voluntarily beyond readily available sources of information,
resources, and standard techniques on polynomials and polynomial equations to be able to formulate
