Scouting aims to enhance skills and develop good character in boys and girls to make them good citizens. It provides fun and challenging activities that help youth become well-rounded individuals. The teachers organized a two-day school encampment for 134 Boy Scouts of the Philippines junior, twinkler, star scouts and Kab Scouts. Activities included an investiture ceremony, torch parade, campfire, games, drill, clean-up and tree planting. A "Scout of the Night" competition was held where candidates performed talents and answered questions to raise funds for a reading area.

Scouting is one of the laudable activities as customarily observe yearly.

It aims to enhance talents, skills,


develop value formation. Significantly to help boys and girls to be fully upright citizens in the society.
Furthermore, scouting provides a program of activities for young boys and girls which are fun, challenging
and at the same time will help develop into a well-rounded individual and useful person in challenging world.
The teachers and the school head had come into consensus to hold a school encampment,followed by the
preparation of pertinent letter to the BSP-GSP and to the Schools Division Superintendent office to allow us to
conduct a Two-day School Encampment on February 17-18,2023. Letters also forwarded to the BNS team to serve as
medical assistance, and to Barangay Chief Tanod to secure the school site encampment. Unluckily we’re not
permitted to do in the early morning of February 17 but instead we did it the afternoon of the said day for the
compliance not to disrupt classes.
So, the set program for the encampment activities were done in the afternoon. To augment the lost set time
for putting up tents in the morning. The parents came in the high noon time to help in building tents for the campers
while classes is on going Inside the classroom.
Day 1
Investiture Ceremony was set and done and after it torch parade and campfire immediately followed.
The 134 registered BSP-GSP Junior, Twinkler, Star Scout sand Kab Scouts excitedly participated in the
Investiture.
The flow of the said ceremony came smooth and done in succession from the Twinkler Scouters to the Junior
Scouter led by the assigned trop leaders of every scouts age.After the ceremony the Teachers prepared the stage for
the search of Scout of the Night 2023 together with the SPTA officials. Every grade level had a pair of candidates
male and female. We agreed to have K-Gr3 Category and Intermediate Category. The scheme is through selling
flying boxes with the same table price and the sympathizers of each candidate will bid for it and a paid request piece
dance for every candidate by their relatives and friends. The higher the bid and more request of the each
sympathizers of candidate is the more chance to win.The proceed will be use in the construction of the Reading
Area for both K-Gr3 and Intermediate school since they’re differ in reading level and interest.
The candidates of every grade level demonstrated excellence in their talents and ability to answer
questions from the judges. The winners were given major awards and crowned.
Day 2
The scouts woke up early for another day to tackle. Fancy Drill (BSP) and different games of the scouters
performed properly and safely.
In the afternoon scouters and teachers do the clean up drive and tree planting . The trop leaders served
also a certificate and prizes to the winners in the different activities, followed by a picture taking of the crowned
candidates and a closing program.

The planned camping activity was successfully completed in a short period of time and the scouters had
memorable time learning and fun.
