 MOVIES: INTENSE TERROR, EXCITING ACTION AND GUARANTEED LAUGHS

Juan: Guys, I just watched "Hereditary" and I have to say that it blew my mind! It's a
really intense and disturbing horror movie. Toni Collette's performance was
exceptional.

Sara: I'm glad you liked it, Juan! "Hereditary" is known for its haunting atmosphere and
powerful performances. Which was your favorite scene?

Juan: The attic scene definitely took my breath away. It was so chilling and suspenseful.
He kept me on the edge of my seat. And what about "A Quiet Place"? Have you seen
her, Cristian?

Cristian: Yes, I saw it and I loved it! The premise of having to maintain absolute silence
to survive puts a unique spin on the horror genre. It had me on edge throughout the
movie. Emily Blunt did an amazing job.

Sara: Speaking of action movies, I recently watched "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" and
was blown away. The action sequences were amazing and Tom Cruise always gives an
outstanding performance in these movies.

Juan: Exactly! "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" was an adrenaline roller coaster from start
to finish. The chase scenes were amazing. Is there any other action movie that you
would recommend?

Cristian: If you like action movies with sci-fi elements, I suggest Edge of Tomorrow. Tom
Cruise stars in this film in which he finds himself trapped in a time loop in the middle of
a war against aliens.
Sara: "Edge of Tomorrow" is a fantastic choice, Cristian. I would also recommend "Baby
Driver". It is an action movie with an amazing mix of music and exciting driving
sequences.

Juan: Thanks for the recommendations! I will definitely add "Edge of Tomorrow" and
"Baby Driver" to my list. Now, let's talk about comedies. Have you seen any funny
movies recently?

Sara: Yeah, I recently watched "Game Night" and had a really good laugh! It is a comedy
full of unexpected twists and hilarious situations. Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams
have great on-screen chemistry.

Cristian: I agree, "Game Night" is a very entertaining comedy. Another funny movie that
I really enjoyed was "The Other Guys".

Sara: The movies you have named are good. But I think "About Time", directed by
Richard Curtis, is the best. It is definitely my favourite.

Juan: I think I've heard that name. What is it about?

Cristián: I've seen it. It's a romantic comedy and it's about a boy who inherits the power
of his father: going back in time. In the end, he discovers that although this power is
very useful, he doesn't really need it, for life with all its twists and turns is beautiful.

Juan: how touching it sounds. Where can I find it?

Sara: You can see it on Prime Video

Cristian: My favorite movie in the world is COCO

Sara: The Disney movie?

Juan: Oh, that movie is very entertaining. What I like the most is the unexpected twist
at the end. You really don't expect that singer to be the bad guy.

Christian: Right. And the message he leaves about family is important. I think it is a
good message for boys and girls

Sara: And for young people and adults too. Sometimes we forget that who truly loves
us on this earth is our family.

Juan: Very true. My favorite movie is called La la land.

Cristian: Sounds like a musical, is it?

Juan: It's a movie with many songs, yes. It is about two artists who fall in love. The
ending, more than tender, is real. That's the beauty of the movie.

Sara: I love that movie too. I've seen her like a thousand times and I would like to have
a romance like theirs, but with a different ending.

Cristian: With a happy ending?

Sarah: hahaha yes. with a happy ending.

Juan: Thata sound so much fun! I will definitely add it to my list of comedies to watch.

PELICULAS: TERROR INTENSO, ACCIÓN EMOCIONANTE Y RISAS ASEGURADAS

Juan: Chicos, acabo de ver "Hereditary" y tengo que decir que me voló la cabeza. Es una
película de terror realmente intensa y perturbadora. La actuación de Toni Collette fue
excepcional.

Sara: ¡Me alegra que te haya gustado, Juan! "Hereditary" es conocida por su atmósfera
inquietante y sus poderosas actuaciones. ¿Cuál fue tu escena favorita?

Juan: La escena del ático definitivamente me dejó sin aliento. Fue tan escalofriante y
lleno de suspenso. Me mantuvo al borde de mi asiento. ¿Y qué hay de "Un lugar en
silencio"? ¿La has visto, Cristian?

Cristian: ¡Sí, lo vi y me encantó! La premisa de tener que mantener un silencio absoluto

para sobrevivir le da un giro único al género de terror. Me tuvo nervioso durante toda la
película. Emily Blunt hizo un trabajo increíble.
Sara: Hablando de películas de acción, recientemente vi "Mission: Impossible - Fallout"
y quedé impresionada. Las secuencias de acción fueron asombrosas y Tom Cruise
siempre brinda una actuación sobresaliente en estas películas.

JUAN: ¡Exacto! "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" fue una montaña rusa de adrenalina de
principio a fin. Las escenas de persecución fueron increíbles. ¿Hay alguna otra película
de acción que recomendarías?

Cristian: Si te gustan las películas de acción con elementos de ciencia ficción, te sugiero
Al filo del mañana. Tom Cruise protagoniza esta película en la que se encuentra

Sara: "Edge of Tomorrow" es una elección fantástica, Cristian. También recomendaría

es muy útil, en realidad no lo necesita, porque la vida con todos sus giros y vueltas es
hermosa.

Juan: que emotivo suena. ¿Dónde puedo encontrarlo?

Cristian: Mi película favorita en el mundo es COCO

Sara: ¿La película de Disney?

Juan: Ay, esa película es muy entretenida. Lo que más me gusta es el giro inesperado al
final. Realmente no esperas que ese cantante sea el malo.

cristian: correcto Y el mensaje que deja sobre la familia es importante. me parece un

buen mensaje para los niños y niñas

Sara: Y para jóvenes y adultos también. A veces olvidamos que quien verdaderamente
nos ama en esta tierra es nuestra familia.

Juan: Muy cierto. Mi película favorita se llama La la land.

Cristian: Suena a musical, ¿verdad?

Juan: Es una película con muchas canciones, sí. Se trata de dos artistas que se
enamoran. El final, más que tierno, es real. Esa es la belleza de la película.

Sara: A mí también me encanta esa película. La he visto como mil veces y me gustaría
tener un romance como el de ellos, pero con un final diferente.

Cristian: ¿Con final feliz?

sara: jajaja si. con un final feliz.

Juan: ¡Eso suena muy divertido! Definitivamente la agregaré a mi lista de comedias para
ver. Gracias por las recomendaciones chicos. ¡No puedo esperar a ver más películas
increíbles!
