4. Select the appropriate clamping method for the specimen and ensure it is securely clamped.
5. Before installing the sand wheel and clamping disc, inspect all power cables, connecting plugs,
and sockets. Verify that everything is in proper working order. Then, switch on the power and
confirm that the motor's rotation aligns with the directional label marked on the machine.
V. Operating interface and setting explanation
1. Operation Buttons:
● Auto/Menu: Self-locking button. In the released position, it operates in auto mode, while in the
pressed position, it switches to manual mode. In manual mode, the backward and forward buttons
are inactive, and only manual rotation of the handwheel allows for feeding the cutting in either
direction.
● FWD: Non-self-locking button. In auto mode, pressing this button causes the feeding to jog
forwards.
● REV: Non-self-locking button. In auto mode, pressing this button causes the feeding to jog
backwards.
● Start: Non-self-locking button. It serves as the starting button for both auto and manual mode.
● Stop: Non-self-locking button. If the cutting process is not complete, pressing this button will
retract the feeding and stop the machine.
● Emergency: Self-locking button. In case of an abnormal situation, pressing this button will halt
all machine movements.
2. LCD Screen Explanation:
1. Position: Indicates the relative position of the working table. It displays the preset cutting travel
value during automatic cutting.
2. Lamp: Controls the indoor lighting. Press the button to turn the lamp on or off.
3. Pump: Controls the cutting pump. Press the pump switch after activating the manual switch to
turn on the pump. In automatic mode, pressing the start key automatically activates the pump.
4. Zero: Press the Origin setting key to reset the Y-axis position.
5. Setting: Click this button to access the parameter settings page, allowing for customization and
adjustment.
1. Menu-speed setting: Adjusts the manual speed for the cutting spindle. The maximum value is 2
m/s.
2. Auto-speed setting: Configures the automatic cutting speed based on the hardness and material
of the workpiece.
3. Cutting Distance setting: Sets the cutting distance for intermittent cutting mode during automatic
cutting.
4. Cutting Delay setting: Specifies the pause time between cuts in intermittent cutting mode during
automatic cutting.

VI. Application range:
A. Cutting application range:
a. Pipe material: Diameter up to φ100mm with a wall thickness of 6mm.
b. Solid bar material:
B. Diameter up to φ100mm with a hardness not exceeding HRC30, made of iron base metal.
C. Diameter up to φ60mm with a hardness not exceeding HRC60, made of iron base metal.
D. Angle steel: Dimensions of 100mm×100mm.
E. Channel-section steel: Dimensions of 100mm×100mm.
2. Choose a suitable cutting disc according to your material type.
VII. Operating method:
1. Automatic cutting mode
1. Secure the specimen by placing it between the clamping vices and tightening them. If the
specimen is too large, loosen the tightening screw of the "L" shape clamp, insert the specimen
into the jaws, push the "L" forward to secure the specimen, and then tighten the upper fixing
screw cap.
2. Set the cutting speed by turning on the power and adjusting the feeding speed in the Automatic
cutting speed interface. It is recommended to keep the automatic cutting speed below 0.02mm/s.
3. Verify that the Automatic/Manual button is in the released position, indicating that the machine
is in automatic working mode.
4. Use the forward and back buttons to bring the cutting disc close to the specimen, ensuring they
do not touch.
5. Press the Start button to initiate the cutting process. The motor will automatically cut the
specimen, and the water pump will activate for cooling.
6. Once the cutting is complete, the cutting disc will automatically retract to its original position.
After retraction, the cutting motor and water pump will stop, indicating the completion of the
cutting process.
2. Manual cutting mode:
1. Power on the machine. Press the Automatic/Manual button, ensuring it is in the pressed down
position to activate manual cutting mode.
2. Secure the specimen following the instructions outlined in the "automatic mode" section.
3. Press the start button to initiate the machine, activating the water pump as well.
4. Use the rotating handwheel to manually swing and cut the specimen.
5. After completing the cutting process, press the stop button to halt the machine's operation. Use
the handwheel to return the cutting disc to its original position.
Important Notices:
● Ensure the power supply is switched off when clamping the specimen.
● Properly connect the grounding line for safety.
● During cutting, the operator must not leave the machine unattended. If any abnormal situations
occur, immediately switch off the machine.
Following these guidelines will help ensure safe and efficient operation of the GenCut GL350 machine.
VIII. Maintenance:
1. Ensure the power supply is compatible with the machine: 220V, three phases, and a four-cord
plug. Additionally, make sure the power socket is properly grounded for safety.
2. Check the inlet and outlet water pipes to ensure they are unblocked and free from any leaks.
3. Clean the cutting chamber regularly at the end of each work shift. This will help maintain a clean
environment and prevent any debris from causing machine malfunctions.
4. It is recommended to regularly lubricate the clamping device, screw rod, and guiding rod to
prolong their lifespan. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for lubricant application.
5. If any abnormal noise is detected during operation, immediately stop the machine and investigate
the source of the noise to prevent further damage.
6. Avoid using sharp objects to clash with the display screen, as this can cause damage. Handle the
machine and its components with care.
7. Do not make any random changes to the electrical wiring or program settings, as this can lead to
potential harm. Seek professional assistance for any modifications or adjustments.
8. Ensure a safe and reliable ground wire connection is established to maintain electrical safety.
9. Regularly check the cutting lubricant liquid level at least once a week to ensure it is at the proper
position for optimal performance.
10. When the machine is not in use, remember to turn off the general power supply to conserve energy
and maintain safety.
Following these guidelines will help ensure safe and efficient operation of the GenCut GL350 machine.
