The most important thing when it comes to motorisation and technology is without a doubt the optimum coordination of all components. MAN
Genuine Parts fulfil this prerequisite. MAN Genuine Oil is the perfect supplement for the core components of an MAN vehicle, for engines,
gearboxes, driven axles and transfer cases. MAN Genuine Oils are proven to provide optimum protection against wear, and thus contribute to a
longer lifespan and reduce overall operating costs (TCO).
Only the best MAN oil is good enough for MAN vehicles. MAN Genuine Oil.

COOLANTS
Developed specially for the operation of MAN high-performance diesel engines, MAN Genuine
Corrosion Protection and Antifreeze offers protection against corrosion and cavitation at the
same time as providing antifreeze protection to ‐37 °C.
Pipe-constricting deposits or gas bubbles can result in extreme pressure and temperature peaks
that can permanently damage the system. MAN Genuine Corrosion Protection and Antifreeze is
optimally tuned to the cooling systems of MAN engines and to their seal materials and coatings,
and therefore provides maximum protection, optimum function and considerable cost advan-
tages due to longer engine service life.
MAN Genuine Corrosion Protection and Antifreeze meets the MAN 324 SI‐OAT and VW TL
774‐G specifications and is thus suitable for all MAN vehicles.
Exception for TGE: Approval according to VW TL 774-G (top up), not suitable for VW TL 774-J

the course of the service life, which
can lead to engine damage.
Therefore:
• Replace coolant when it turns

Information on the assignment of ap-
proved engine oil, emission standard,

COOLING SYSTEM
WARNING
Danger of engine damage
The ability of the coolant to protect
against corrosion may decrease over
the course of the service life, which
can lead to engine damage.
Therefore:
• Replace coolant when it turns
brown or becomes cloudy.

The Ecolite, TipMatic Lite, Ecomid, TipMatic Mid, Ecosplit and MAN TipMatic AS/TC/TX gearboxes are initially filled with gearbox oil as per
MAN 341 Z5. These gearboxes are not allowed to have an oil change in the first two years following their first registration.
Exception: The gearbox oil must be changed if the upper mileage/km limit is reached before the first two years have passed.
Only oils in compliance with MAN 341 Z5 may be used when topping up the gearbox oil (retrofit, repair, etc.) within the first two years.
Topping up hydraulic oil for shift unit in TipMatic Lite 6AS800, 6AS850, 6AS1000
The shift unit (PowerPack) in the TipMatic Lite 6AS800, 6AS850 and 6AS1000 is permanently filled with Pentosin CHF 11 S hydraulic oil in
accordance with M 3289 ZHF. In the event of repairs, only Pentosin CHF 11 S is allowed to be used as hydraulic oil. Information on checking the
oil level and filling the shift unit can be found in the corresponding repair manual.
