A major question we need to ask is: “Are we to worship Jesus?”

Let's see what the Bible says.

My name is Pastor Daniel Mesa. I'm with RevelationwithDaniel.com

The first question is this: “Is Christ God?”

Well, John chapter 1 addresses that right off the bat:

1 “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word
was God
2 The same was in the beginning with God
3 (and) All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything
made that was made.”

Jumping down to verse 14:

“The word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory,
(it was) the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and
truth”. John 1:14

And so according to the Bible, yes, Jesus is God; and therefore we are able and
commanded to worship Him. But we must understand HOW HE IS GOD. You see,
because we have surrendered unto Him, He is our God; brought forth of the Father,
as of the only begotten of the Father. But we must understand that He is our God,
He is not His Father's God. The Father has no God. So the Son is JUST AS DIVINE
as the Father. But Jesus has made it clear (as we'll read in a few moments) that His
Father is His God.
[See Matthew 27:46, John 20:17 and Revelation 3:12]

Now when you ask Peter the question, “Is He divine?” (Jesus, that is):

“Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living
God.” Matthew 16:16

You see, Peter would understand that Jesus Christ is divine, because He is the SON
of the Living God, the Divine God of heaven. And so, grass brings forth grass. Cattle
brings forth cattle. Humans bring forth humans. [In fact. my son is just as much
human as I am.] Kind begets kind. And in the same sense, the Father, a Divine Being,
can bring forth a Divine Son.

And so, “Is Christ to be worshiped?”

Of course, He is!

Abraham did the same thing in Genesis 18, for example.

1 “The LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the
tent door in the heat of the day;
2 And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him:
and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and
bowed himself toward the ground,
3 And said, my Lord, …” [Notice he didn't say “my Lords”] … “… my Lord,
if now I have found favor in thy sight, …” [“THY” being a SINGULAR
WORD. That is not a PLURAL WORD. “YE” (for) “Your sight” would have
been a PLURAL. But the King James (Version) makes it clear here,] … pass
not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:”

And so we can see that Abraham [If you continue reading in the next chapter you'll
realize that it's the Lord Himself with those two angels.] So Abraham was calling
Jesus “the Lord”, “the Son of God”, “the Lord”. And he bowed before Him.

And so we can see in Joshua chapter 5

13 “It came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes
and looked, and behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword
drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto Him, Art thou for us, or for our
adversaries?

14 And he said, Nay, but as captain of the host of the LORD I am now come.
And Joshua fell (down) on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said
unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the Captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe
from off thy feet; for the place whereupon thou standest is holy. And Joshua
did so.”

So we're pretty clear in the Bible that we're not to worship angels. We can see John
tried to do that in Revelation 19 and 22, and he was told not to do that. But when
we worship Jesus Christ – according to the Bible – we're okay, because He is the
captain of the LORD'S host, because He is the Son of God, because he is Divine.

Well, if you ask the Wise Men in Matthew chapter 2, notice what it says in verses 1
and 2 and also 10 and 11:

1 “When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the
king, behold, There came wise men from the East to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born king of the Jews? For we have seen his
star in the East, and are come to worship him.”

In verse 10 it says:

10 “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with
Mary his mother, and they fell down, and [notice] WORSHIPED HIM: and
when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold
and frankincense, and myrrh.”

So we know that Peter has already said that Jesus is the Son Of The Living God, but
notice, as we see in Luke chapter 5:

“When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from
me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” Luke 5:8

And so, seeing the holiness, the purity of Christ, Peter was able to fall down and just
want him to go away – because he realized HIS OWN corruption.

So we could say of Thomas in John Chapter 20:

26 “After eight days again His disciples were within, and Thomas was with
them: (and) then (there) came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the
midst, and said Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands;
and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless,
but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, [Notice] My Lord and my
God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas because thou hast seen me, thou hast
believed (?): blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

So even according to John the angels, the living creatures in heaven and earth,
Revelation chapter 5 says this, in verses 11 through 14:

5 “I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne
and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand
times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
6 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive
power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and
blessing. …
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth,
and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying. Blessing,
and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the lamb forever and ever.”
14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down
and worshiped Him that liveth for ever and ever.”

So He was given life from the One That Lives For Ever And Ever; that is the Father.

He was also given judgment. We’ll read in John chapter 5. It says, John 5:26 and
27:

26 “For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath he given the Son to have
life in himself;
27 And hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is
the Son of man.”

And so, according to Hebrews chapter 1, angels have been commanded to worship
Christ. Notice what it says:

4 “Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance

obtained a more excellent name than they [“inheritance” of course, because
He is a Son of God.]
5 “For unto which of the angels said He [God the Father] at any time, Thou
art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? …” [Which, by the way, is
PRESENT TENSE. And now notice the FUTURE TENSE.] “… And again, I
will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?”
6 “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith,
And let all the angels of God worship him.”

So He [JESUS] had already been declared as the begotten of the Father. And it was
said, that “He WILL BE a Son”, and “I WILL BE to Him a Father.” And then finally,
when He brings Him into the world (He had already been the Begotten Son), it says
that the angels were commanded to worship Him, because they had never
worshiped ANYTHING CREATED before. They had never worshiped a HUMAN.

But God had given His Son, through Mary, to take on flesh. And the SON OF GOD
that had taken on flesh, the SON OF GOD they worshiped. They didn't worship the
SON OF MAN.

So Hebrews chapter 8 tells us a little bit about this. There is what's called the “True
Tabernacle” in chapter 8 verse 2, which could be translated (as) the “Original
Tabernacle”. It's a figure of the True. So if you've seen the Earthly Tabernacle, you've
seen the Heavenly; because it is an express image. And in the same way, if you've
seen the Son of God, you've seen His Father – who, according to Hebrew 1, is the
express image of His Father. And so in prayer, Jesus understood this; that His Father
was “the Only True God”. Notice in John 17, verse 3:

3 “This is life eternal, that they might know thee the ONLY TRUE [or as we
read in Hebrews, “the Only Original”) GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou
hast sent.”

The same word as “True” here, in John chapter 17, is the same word we find over
in Hebrews chapter 8 verse 2.

So Christ IS “the express image” of the Father, just like the EARTHLY sanctuary was
the “express image” of the HEAVENLY sanctuary. And so that's why Jesus could say
in John chapter 14 verse:

“He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” John 14:9

Because He is the express image. So all the world will ether worship the Beast and
his image (according to Revelation 13:11 through 18), or we will worship the Father
and His Image (according to Hebrews 1 (Revelation 5:11-14) and several other
passages).

So Philippians chapter 2 helps us to understand a little bit about EVERYBODY

worshiping Jesus!

But we have to ask the question, “WHY?”

Notice what the Bible says. Philippians 2 verse 10:

10 “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,
and things on earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father.”

The Bible here does say that “every knee shall bow”. But we must notice that it’s
saying, “every knee shall bow to Jesus TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.”

The Father bows to nobody. The Father has no God. So when everybody bows to
Jesus, it will be to the Father's glory. And so we can see that when the Father and
the Son in the COUNCIL BETWEEN THEM BOTH, according to Zechariah 6:13, we

know that the plan was that Jesus would be a High Priest, and would build the
Temple. And that after the whole plan of redemption is done, God working through
His Son, will bring everybody to worship His Son to His own glory; because saving
you started in the mind of God the Father, so that He could work through the Son.

And in light of all this, I choose to worship the Son, Jesus Christ to the glory of God
the Father.

What about you?

END.

God became man! : Wondrous combination of man and God! ... He humbled Himself to man's nature. He
did this that the Scripture might be fulfilled; and the plan was entered into by the Son of God, knowing all
the steps in His humiliation, that He must descend to make an expiation for the sins of a condemned,
groaning world. What humility was this! It amazed angels. The tongue can never describe it; the
imagination cannot take it in. The eternal Word consented to be made flesh! God became man! It was a
wonderful humility.
But He stepped still lower; the Man must humble Himself as a man to bear insult, reproach, shameful
accusations, and abuse. There seemed to be no safe place for Him in His own territory. He had to flee
from place to place for His life. He was betrayed by one of His disciples; He was denied by one of His
most zealous followers. He was mocked. He was crowned with a crown of thorns. He was scourged. He
was forced to bear the burden of the cross.
He was not insensible to this contempt and ignominy. He submitted, but, oh! He felt the bitterness as no
other being could feel it. He was pure, holy, and undefiled, yet arraigned as a criminal! The adorable
Redeemer stepped down from the highest exaltation. Step by step He humbled Himself to die—but what
a death! It was the most shameful, the most cruel—the death upon the cross as a malefactor. He did not
die as a hero in the eyes of the world, loaded with honors, as men in battle. He died as a condemned

criminal, suspended between the heavens and the earth—died a lingering death of shame, exposed to
the tauntings and revilings of a debased, crime-loaded, profligate multitude! ...
All this humiliation of the Majesty of heaven was for guilty, condemned man. He went lower and lower in
His humiliation, until there were no lower depths that He could reach, in order to lift man up from his moral
defilement. All this was for you TMK 68.2 - TMK 68.5, TMK _ THAT I MAY KNOW HIM p.68

I would sincerely like to know how we can worship the Son of God now, and should we pray to Him?
(When praying to the Father we mention the Son, but rarely address Him directly)

@Revelationwithdaniel 4 years ago

Hello Mark. Many people brought their sick to Jesus--'praying' if you will, that He would heal them.
(Here is one example: "Behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name;
and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth
at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she
shall live" Mark 5:22-23.)
Also, consider Acts 7 verse 59, "They stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus,
receive my spirit."
I hope these thoughts are helpful.

All things were made BY Him = False Translation
All things were made THROUGH Him = Right Translation God
The Father created everything THROUGH His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

@mansoorahmad2412 no Islam is not of God. I will pray for you brother that you find Jesus before
it's too late. I have done a little more study of his explanation here and have a better understanding

Who was Jesus before his incarnation? Was He the Son of God? If yes, then why it is not mentioned in
Old testament?

@Revelationwithdaniel 2 years ago

Please consider Abraham and Isaac on mount Moriah. Eve was brought forth from Adam to illustrate
one brought forth from another. Consider Proverbs 30:4.

It is not mentioned in the Old Testament it is just forgeries and man-made ideas. Not real

I respect you as a brother in Christ but not every words you say I agree. We also need to glorify the Son,
pls read John 17. Jesus Himself said in John 17.1 Father the hour has come Glorify Your Son that Your
Son also may glorify You. Both Father and Son complementing with each other about the glorification
rightly belong to them. Verse 5 And now O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which
I had with You before the world was. My question to you. If Jesus is seeking such glorification, is it wrong
to glorify Him? As you have mentioned that you worship Jesus to the glory of the Father only? Jesus is
the Creator, John 1:3, Col 1: 16, and in Rev 14:7 there is a call to worship the Creator who made heaven
and earth and that's Jesus because He is the Creator. The Father loves the Son and vice versa so if we
worship the Son it is the same as we are worshipping the Father also. There is no jealousy between
Father and Son , they are One John 10:30. Your theology cause more confusion to the simple ones. It is
okey with those matured student of the Bible but to beginners and those who are not really studying their
Bible well, they will simply follow what you claims to be the truth. Pls focus on preaching a simple gospel
that will help believers close to Jesus. We need Jesus to cleanse us from all of our sins and
unrighteousness. He is the Lamb of God who takes away my sin and your sin and everyone's sin. Your
doctrine on Trinity has cause so much damage in the church. We suppose to be Mission focused, but
look what you have done, people are simply following your teachings (though not all because I prefer to
study my own Bible instead of accepting second hand), instead of following and beholding Jesus. The
title of your presentation Revelation with Daniel is rather controversial to me. It should be the Revelation
of Jesus Christ and not from any human beings.

@chelkeerong6087 2 years ago
How do you explain Hebrews 1: 8 when the Father address the Son as God? But to the Son He says:
Your throne, O God is forever and ever... The book John we can read that Jesus and the Father are One.
John 10:30, Jesus receives glorification the same as the Father even before the world was created John
17:5 , and Jesus said before Abraham was I Am John 8:58. We know that I Am which refer to God Himself
during the time of Moses. In this last days, our focus should be on the character of Jesus to be manifested
in our lives because Satan attacks His character. Isaiah 9:6, the prophesied Messiah is called the
everlasting Father, so how do we explain this when Jesus is also called Father. To me, God the Father
and Jesus are equal. They are One right now in the Most Holy Place. When I worship the Father I'm also
worshipping Jesus at the same time. Philippians 2: 6 Jesus, being in the form of God, did not consider it
robbery to be equal with God. John 14: 7-10, these are powerful verses about Jesus claim that He is One
with the Father. Our God is not the author of confusion, we do. As human beings, we like to argue over
certain theologies we can't agree. We are arguing over doctrines when our focus should be Jesus and
Him Crucified and we have redemption in His precious blood. Our mission should be to unite all believers
in this last days and not to divide. To support the church and its mission. Many Adventists didn't have
experience with the resurrected Savior and to them the Holy Spirit is somewhat impersonal, never
experience on how to overcome sins so that the Spirit of Christ can dwell in hearts and minds. Isn't this
our main focus to help them experience Jesus?

@Revelationwithdaniel 2 years ago (edited)

Thank you. Your questions are good. More common than some may realize. Consider Isaiah 9:6 with
Hebrews 2:13 regarding the Father question. Have you considered this message? https://youtu.be/p-
kIXvOtasA If this doesn’t with the other verses, please let me know. “Jesus is seeking to impress
upon them the thought that in giving his Holy Spirit he is giving to them the glory which the Father
has given him.” ST October 3, 1892, par. 4

I’m confused You said Angels were commanded to worship, they never worship anything created
never worship a human then you said they worship the Son of God not the Son of Man. If Jesus is
Divine/Human person how can you worship one and not the other? Please explain

@Revelationwithdaniel 4 years ago

Hello. Thank you for asking. When the Bible says in Hebrews 1:6, "When he bringeth in the
firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him," it's talking about
Jesus being brought into the world as the firstbegotten--as I'm sure you know (I'm simply stating this
for context).
Jesus had been worshipped before as the Son of Almighty God, as angels had been accustomed to
worship Him as such. But, as we can see here, the angels were told to worship Him after He had
been sent into the world as the firstbegotten. If the angels knew to worship Him, it seems to me the
Father would not have had to command the angels to do so. Divinity took on flesh, and the flesh has
never been an object of worship, but the divinity has been.
Also, because angels are created, we are not to worship them--even though they have never sinned
(we see that in Revelation 19 and 22). Notice what the "Story of Redemption" says about the angels,
"The angels prostrated themselves before Him. They offered their lives. Jesus said to them that He
would by His death save many, that the life of an angel could not pay the debt. His life alone could
be accepted of His Father as a ransom for man" (SR 43.2). Christ, the Son of God, took on human
Page 10 of 14
flesh to be able to shed His blood and die. Also, an interesting sentence is here: "His human nature
was created; it did not even possess the angelic powers. It was human, identical with our own" (6MR
111.1).
So, when stating what I did about the Son of God being worshipped and not the Son of Man, I meant
all of what I said above. God's Son was worshipped in human flesh, as He had "clothed His divinity
with humanity" (COL 126.2).
I hope that helps. God's blessings as we all continue to study together.

RevelationWithDaniel thank you my Brother it Did

@chelkeerong6087 2 years ago

@DonjohnsonBG Study the Bible for yourself and ask the Lord for His Holy Spirit to help you understand
His word. The work of the Holy Spirit in our lives we can read in John chapter 14, 15 ,16 ,17. The Holy
Spirit is the only effectual teacher of truth and as a promised, He will guide us into all truth. Thus saith
the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth
from the LORD. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. Jeremiah
17: 5, 7. The foundation of our faith in this last days must be " Thus saith the Lord " direct from His word
and not what man says. We must focus on our relationship with Jesus. For His life to be part of our daily
lives. That makes our life so wonderful and beautiful. Even the disciples of Jesus were confused and
didn't understand His mission. Jesus was very patient with them. In Luke 24: 13-27, we can get a lesson
from here that as human beings we are slow in our understanding and many times we are so confused.
Who suppose to give us understanding? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded
unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself. Luke 24: 27. It was Jesus who expounded
the Scripture to them. Will Jesus do the same for us today? Of course, His heart is yearning for us. He
told His disciples not to leave Jerusalem until they receive the promised comforter which is the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:4-8. John 14:16. Jesus will pray to the Father to give us a helper, the Holy Spirit to abide with us
forever. While some of brother Daniel's presentation are enlightening like Job and 144,000, many of his
teachings are quite strange and even confusing to me. I prefer to study the Bible for myself and have
direct communion with the Lord. In this way, we can be safe. His doctrine against the Trinity has a great
negative impact to the church. I agreed with him that the word Trinity is not in the Bible and sister White
never use that word either. If some doctrine infiltrated the church that is not in harmony with the Word, it
is because we an enemy the devil who use people to contaminate the pure gospel. So then are we going
to cause division because of this error? No! God ordained the SDA to be the last bearer of light in this
last days. Our duty is to help our members who are weak to help them understand the role of the Father,
Son and the Holy Spirit in our lives, study the Bible when they are willing, that they too will be blessed to
experience the fullness of the Godhead in order to prepare themselves receive the early rain and latter
rain so that the church can be purified in this process. Our focus must be the correct understanding of
the sanctuary. The church had failed in this area, neglecting the sanctuary doctrine hence the church lost
its power. The church seems powerless today but the Lord had promised to build a little sanctuary for us.
And many of us now are experiencing that sanctuary for the Lord to dwell in. That sanctuary is our own
body, for we are His temple, redeemed by His precious blood. It is my prayer that you too are enjoying
that privilege, for the fullness of the Godhead to dwell in you. Blessings
.

How do you know they weren't 3 Angels? How do you know Jesus was there? Couldn't it be a custom to
bow welcoming guests. Yes, I agree to worshipping of Jesus but I don't understand what the difference
is if God the Father is God and Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit is God

Abram worshipped the Lord. Angels don’t allow men to worship them.
Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy
fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony
of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Rev. 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down
to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Rev. 22:9 Then saith he unto
me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which
keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

God became man! question to you: that God became man, is He God the Father? If not how many Gods
are?

@Revelationwithdaniel 1 year ago

Thank you for asking. This study is meant to answer that question. Please go carefully through these
thoughts in this presentation, as you may see that for US, there is God the Father, yet His Son is
divine and sits also on the throne, therefore, for us we worship and obey the Son as well. But, the
Son has a God. Therefore, He cannot be like His Father who has no God. The Father is the only
being in the universe that has no God--as He is the God from whence all things come. Consider John
17:3 and 1 Corinthians 8:6.

Man was created from dust and God breathed In His Spirit of life. JESUS was not created He is The
ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father. Begotten as in brought forth from Him and sharing His LIKENESS
and Divine Nature.

Of John 1:1
If Word is God and was with God. You mean God was with God? 2 Gods?
I want clarify to all Christians that verse has been widely misunderstood among Christians because it
means 2 Gods. And you all know that God is only One.

Thank you for the comment. Please know what John meant when writing that. It was clarified after
his gospel was nearly completed:
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and
that believing ye might have life through his name.
Jesus, as mentioned in the video, is OUR God, He is NOT His Father's God. God the Father has no
God.

@Revelationwithdaniel there cannot be 2 Gods. God is One and Jesus was the messenger of God.

Of course we can worship Jesus. As Lord and messiah sent by God his Father but never as God almighty.
Jesus is worthy of worship as Lord, as the son of God but Jesus is not God as that would create the
problem of there being more than one God.
John 1 has been much maligned by the Trinitarian mindset. Try to view these passages through the eyes
of an ancient Hebrew and not a modern Christian and you will start to see a more correct interpretation.
The Jews of John's time only knew one God who they knew as YHWH ELOHIM - the converted ones
that accepted Christ as Lord, did not believe he was God, they believed he was the son of the living God
sent by the Father so we might once again find connection with Him.
Jesus does not need to be God. He was raised up as God's own son, His anointed prophet, His only
begotten son, to be the lamb slain from the beginning of the world, our high priest. Jesus is the only
reason for God to create this world for without the Lamb there could have been no redemption, there
would have been no glory in creating a world doomed to be forever lost in sin.
Jesus truly came in the flesh. That means he was as human as you or I except for the fact his Father was
not of this earth. He had a Heavenly Father who raised him up and put His spirit upon a perfect servant
who only did the will of his father. He lived his life without sin proving it was possible and so could perform
what it was he was raised up to do.
Jesus does not need to be God - why do people insist he is? He is revealed to us as the only begotten
son of the one true living God or we do not know the correct Jesus - we only are following another Jesus
creating 'gods' that do not exist, gods of our desires. Which is the spirit of the antichrist. Christ is worthy
of the worship we accord him, not as another God but as the son God gave us.

Centurion of Truth do you find this in scripture?

@naciamaJYute 3 years ago

Brother, please consider the following: You have just made two types of Gods.
1. Self Existent God (Father)
2. A created God (Son)
But this idea is unscriptural. See Isaiah 43:10 " Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant
whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there
was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no
saviour."
So before the self exitent one there was no God, neither after. Thus there can't be 2 types of God.
Why then does scripture protray Christ as subordinate to the Father? Simply because Christ demoted
himself to save His creation. See Phillipians 2: 5 -8 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ
Jesus:Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no
reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being
found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the
cross."
This humbling, I believe (based on SOP) occured even before the fall. That even the angels might fully
appreciate who God truly is Jesus humbled himself to the post of archangel.
Christ's humility, in becoming man and bearing the sins of the world, and dying the second death reveals
to the universe th immeasurable depth of our Father's love!
Please brother, turn from these falsehoods, and come home.

Why god came down to die on the cross? Isnt that humiliating and embarrassing?

@jandellko 1 year ago

He humiliated himself to show that He is willing to save us. even if it means giving up himself
