To: GSP Troop Leaders, GSP, Star Scouts, Twinklers:

In celebration of the Girl Scout Week, with the theme “125 Years of Living Legacy:
Remembering the Life of Josefa Llanes Escoda”, Girl Scouts all over the country are
enjoined to participate in the week-long celebration 125th Birth Anniversary, GSP Founder
Josefa Llanes Escoda.

1. The following are the objectives of activity:

 The activity aims to help girls and young women realize the ideals of
womanhood and prepare them for their roles and responsibilities in their home
and in nation-building.
 Remember the life of Josefa Llanes Escoda 125 years of living Legacy

2. The following are the suggested activities:


September 17, 2023 – Faith Day
September 18, 2023- Troop Day
September 19, 2023 – Environment Day
September 20, 2023- Escoda Day
September 21, 2023 – Girl’s Day
September 22, 2023- Community Day
September 17, 2023 – Family Day

3. Expenses to be incurred in the Girls Scout Week shall be charged to the MOOE- fund
subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

4. Immediate and wide dissemination of the Memorandum is enjoined.
