Personal Dosimetry:-

On some sites where the radiation levels were relatively


high, a personal radiation dosimetry was applied by using
TLD system. The TLD dosimeters were given to those who
are in-charge of activities in maintenance, production,
inspection and safety, in the controlled areas.

A typical annal dose were found to be 900 uSv/year as an


average with a standard deviation of ± 30% which is
within the dose limit for the general public ( 1 mSv per
year). 8
