III. Procedure
A. Preparation
1. Recall/Review
We discussed how to differentiates Solid figures from plane figure.
Solid Figures are three dimensional 3D figures that have length, width, and height.
Ex. Cube, cone, cylinder, pyramid, sphere and prism.
Plane Figures are flat two-dimensional 2D shapes. A plane figure can be made of straight lines, curved lines,
or both.
2. Drill
Name the following Figures.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
3. Motivation
a. Game “Passing the Ball.”
Say, “Let us have skip counting by 2’s from 2 to 20. Then, pass the ball at one pupil to start. The pupil who
started will pass the ball to another pupil to continue and so on and so forth until you reach 20. Every
pupil should listen to the previous answer to be able to give his/her own answer. The same procedure will
be done to the following items. See to it that every pupil in class will recite.
Sequence – is a set of numbers written in a special order by the application of a definite rule. Each number in the
sequence is called a TERM. Patterns and rules will help us to continue a given sequence of numbers, figures or to
fill in the missing numbers or symbol.
Children will be working with their groupmates independently. Differentiated activities were provided to them
to focusing on the lesson. Each group will present their output to the class and be checked.

D. GENERALIZATION
Lead the pupils to give the following generalization by asking:
IV. EVALUATION
Directions: Find the rule, then, write the missing terms.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Formulate 5 rule or pattern of your own. Write one number sequence for each rule.
