The HApAG KAY PBB; is a jotnt program of DILG and DA in support to the thrust of
the current administration to address hunger and ensure food secunty in the country
byencouraging the establishment of vegetable gardens to diversify the food sources
and increase the production and supply of ftesh ffuits and vegetables in the
communities.
BIDA is a nationwide anti-illegal drugs advocacy program involving local govemment
units (LGUs), national government igencies (NGAs), and other key sectors of the
society that iocuses on drug demand reduction and rehabilitation.
Upon the regueet of Hon. Eden Chua Pineda, National President of the Liga ng mga
girang"V sa Pilipinas and in partnership with thiq ofre, the Liga ng mg-a Barangay
sa eili[inas in cooperation witir the Deparhent of the.lntsrior and Local Govemment

The ewnt is deoigned to put bcus on enguring full cooperaton on the above
programs. A reporting of accomplishmenB as well as awarding of ouBtranding
barangay leaders will be presented. A manilesto of support with the stakeholders will
be tre highlight of the event.
A registration fee amounting to TWEi{W THOUSAI{D EIGHT HUilDRED PESOS
(pzO;SgO.Ool wiu be colleded by the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas to defray the
costs of hotel accommodttion, meab, event kits, Esource materials, awardE , tokens,
logistics and oher allowable expenses while attending tre activity may be authorized
chirgeabte against barangay tunds, subject to its availability and the usual budgeting,
accounting and auOiting rules and regulations, and other pertinent laws on the
disburserent of local fu nds.
All Punong Barangays, Sangguniang Barangay Members, Sangguniang Kabataan
(SK), gigistaf and oher Barangay Officials are highly encouragd to attend this
activity.
