In this article titled fashion trend Analyzing and forecasting, the authors discuss the
role of fashion industry professionals in trend development and forecasting, and
social responsibility related to fashion trends and forecasting, and the format for
trend forecasts and the influence of trend forecasting on business decisions. This is
especially the case in the fashion industry, where demand uncertainty, lack of
historical data and seasonal trends usually coexist. Many approaches to this issue
have been proposed in the literature over the past few decades. In this paper, forecasting
methods are compared with the aim of linking approaches to the market features.
Because fashion trends vary quickly and in a variety of ways, it is important and
challenging to read and predict them in the fashion industry. In order to determine
how closely related fashion trends are to one another, we utilize network analysis to
examine fashion trends from 2004 to 2013.Throughout the time, a distinct pattern
was repeated in fashion trends. Retro modern, feminine modern.
The relationship between physical and psychosocial characteristics of the body and
preferences for aesthetic clothing aspects is investigated in this study. The study is
based on a clothing comfort model. Body size demonstrated a favorable linear
relationship with styling preferences, suggesting. In addition to developing design-
oriented fashion products, it is necessary for companies and designers to reconsider
access to fashion through technological advancements, sustainable products, and
marketing. This study is significant, as it provides basic data that can be used to
establish a product and marketing strategy for street fashion brands.

Chapter III
Data Collection
Data for this study will be collected through a combination of surveys and interviews.
A questionnaire will be developed to gather quantitative data regarding students'
awareness, interest, and adoption of K-pop fashion trends. The questionnaire will
include questions about specific clothing items, brands, and styles associated with K-
pop fashion.
Research Methodology
This chapter deals with the research method on this study. It includes the
Method use, the Research environment, Respondents of the study, Research
instruments, validating process of data gathering procedures and statistical tools
used in this research descriptive approach of research will be applied in this study.
surveys will be conducted in this study to collect data this kind of research technique
is perfect for determining the factors and locations where people typically learn about
k-Pop. The survey respondents' responses will then be used to compile statistics on
the locations and media the respondents may have used to learn about K pop.
additionally, the methodology would assist the researcher in determining the
respondent level of awareness of K-Pop and how it has affected their life
Method of the Study
Time for data collection and analysis is something you want to consider. An
observation or interview method, so-called qualitative approach, helps you collect
richer information, but it takes time. Using a survey helps you collect more data
quickly, yet it may lack details. So, you will need to consider the time you have for
research and the balance between strengths and weaknesses associated with each
method.
Participant observation fosters a deep and intimate understanding of the beliefs,
values, and practices of your group or subculture of interest from an insider’s
perspective. This can be especially useful when studying marginalized groups or
groups that are resistant to observation.
Interviews
Researchers have a written list of questions for their subjects during interviews,
creating a very structured research setting. The researcher could also only have one
question arranged, allowing the subject to speak and expand on the topic from there.
Focus groups
In a focus group, researchers gather participants together and ask questions of the
group. Researchers might observe a focus group and take notes on the session, or
they can operate as the group's facilitator. As with interviews, researchers can record
focus groups for further review and analysis.
Population and sampling
POPULATION:
The population of interest for this study is Grade 11 students at General Mariano
Alvarez Technical High School. The study will specifically focus on students
attending the Trinidad Tecson campus. This population will include both male and
female students who are exposed to K-pop and its associated fashion trends.
SAMPLE
A sample will be drawn from the population to gather data for this study. The sample
will be selected using a combination of stratified and random sampling techniques to
ensure representation across different groups within the population.
Stratified sampling will involve dividing the population into subgroups based on
relevant variables such as gender, age, and level of exposure to K-pop fashion
trends. Random sampling will then be used to select participants from each
subgroup. This approach will help ensure that the sample represents the diversity
present within the population.
The sample size will depend on the desired level of precision and the availability of
resources for data collection and analysis. A larger sample size would generally
increase the statistical power and generalizability of the findings. However, logistical
constraints and resources will need to be considered when determining the final
sample size.
Data analysis, whether quantitative or qualitative, is intended to summarize a mass
of information to answer the research questions, test the hypotheses, examine the
foreshadowed problems, and explore the conjectures.
Subject of the Research Study
This research would be beneficial for the Grade 11 students at General
Mariano Alvarez Technical High School. As it would define the Impact of Korean
Trend in the way of their choosing clothes and apparel
Chapter IV
The data can be both quantitative and qualitative in nature. Quantitative data is
in numeric form, which can be discrete that includes finite numerical values or
continuous which also takes fractional values apart from finite values. For instance,
the number of girls in a class can only take finite values, so it is a discrete variable,
while the cost of a product is a continuous variable.
Qualitative data is not-numerical which can be based on methods such as
interviews, grades given in an exam etc. It can be nominal and ordinal, where
nominal data does not contains any order such as the gender, marital status, while
ordinal data has a particular order such as ratings of a movie, sizes of a shirt.
The research team, composed of Grade:12 senior high school students
premature high school section on G 11 Trinidad tecson the Impact of K-pop music to
a student questionnaire was used to collect the data. This study sought to evaluate
the influence of K-pop music on Senior High school student at General Mariano
Alvarez Technical High School. well as the respondent’s behavior.
Chapter V
Conclusion:
By examining the impact of K-pop trends on the clothing and apparel choices of
Grade 11 students, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of how cultural
phenomena shape fashion preferences among youth. The findings will provide
valuable insights for educators and policymakers to develop strategies that
encourage a diverse and inclusive fashion culture while addressing potential
challenges associated with the dominance of K-pop fashion trends.
