1. Please describe one project or research that you focused on since you joined University. Must include role you played,
difficulties, learnings and reflection. (About 500 words)
Choosing a field of interest is always a challenging problem for a student. Once I joined college, I was aware of the fact that this is
not going to be an easy task for me, so I started to explore every field as to get exposure to possible fields I can opt to. I also met
many seniors and a few of my batchmates who were already learning machine learning and deep learning. My journey of machine
learning started since then. I utilized my first year by exploring many different things in the college, various clubs and interacting
with seniors to explore as much as I can. In my second year, I started to explore machine learning and python a bit seriously along
with my academics and POR. I managed to learn many things in the second year and the golden opportunity came during the
COVID-19 and lockdown period. I have done various online courses on machine learning and deep learning during this period. My
interest developed so intense that I decided to go deeply into it. Then I also did a few projects on Kaggle and GitHub which further
motivates me to know more and more about it.

My main projects were Facial recognition system and Heart Disease Prediction which I have completed during the lockdown period.
In the case of the Facial recognition system, I got to know the use and importance of deep learning and computer vision in the
industry, so I shifted my focus to computer vision and started to learn more about it. My learning was reflected through this project
as I was able to recognize the faces using facial encodings and outputted the image with all the faces labeled and named. In my
second project, I have analyzed the data gathered from Kaggle using descriptive analysis and visualization techniques and built a
classification model for the prediction of Heart Disease. I wanted to experience a live project in this domain, so I have applied for
an internship remotely and I got one in the computer vision profile in Celebal Technologies, Jaipur, India. I have learned many many
new things during the internship and I got to experience of applying it to real-life projects. Initially, I faced many problems as I
required more knowledge to work on the project so I learned new techniques and Frameworks needed for Computer Vision under
the guidance of my project mentor. I have worked on automating the process of analyzing accidental damages claims for insurance
companies. I have collated a thorough literature review of 5+ research papers based on object detection analysis. I have also built
models that detect damages resulting in reduced time along with the cost in processing claims using Mask-RCNN and Detectron2
on damaged car parts and successfully detected seven different car parts with an overall accuracy of more than 90 percent on
1200+ images. At last, I want to say that my dedication and motivation to learn are a great factor in achieving

I would contribute my acquired knowledge and skills through previous experience, I would contribute my learning capability to
acquire new knowledge for attaining company goal. I have self-confidence and good issue-resolving ability. Also being a quick
learner, I am workaholic and I will take your Organization to greater heights. My experience will help you wherever you have a
need. I know much about Machine learning and computer vision and I have applied the concept in many projects as well. I have
already worked under a company as an intern so I believe that the experience I have gained throughout my tenure would be
beneficial for the SONY. I can be an asset to this Organization as I think that I have enough capabilities, skills and qualifications to
work and I am much willing to improve the skills that I have that is incongruent with what the Organization or company upholds.
My dedication and my motivation is a great factor in achieving goals towards my work.

I have been in a team of seven people in my previous intern which helps me to work as a team and each of our work is specified
and essential to the project, so I very well know how to work independently and simultaneously contribute to the project. I learned
the importance of daily updates and hard deadlines which makes me more punctual and loyal to the work. Apart from this, I would
like to contribute by putting my ideas to the senior colleagues and the company if it could benefit the project. I have already
discussed a few of my ideas in my previous intern and they considered a couple of them as it had the potential to reduce the time
to complete the project and at the same time increases the accuracy. At last, I would like to say that I will give my hundred percent
to work I will be associated with and I will prove what I have said now.
