Introduction:
It often happens that the very best of our capabilities and inner strengths are tested and brought to light when we
willingly take on challenges. Ever since my childhood, I was taught that whenever a problem arises towards achieving a
goal, I have two clear choices either I back out of goal-plans or to take it on as a challenge, solve it and seize the
opportunity to be in charge of my destiny. I have always chosen the second choice in my life. My parents are always
really encouraging and they never let me lose heart at failure. Everyone in my family has always shown immense faith
in me and my decisions, more than what I had in myself. I am very fortunate that I am born in a highly educated family
which filled moral values in me and have a firm faith in God.
Academic Details:
In 2013 I completed my 10th standard from PSEB with 80.3%
In 2015 I completed my 12th standard from same board with 80.2%
In 2018 I completed my Bachelor’s Degree from Punjabi University Patiala with 66.7%
In 2019 I completed Post – Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications with 78.5% from Same University Affiliation.

Work Experience: After completing my PGDCA, I joined Jai Maa Computers on 2 nd September 2019 and worked there
till 30th August 2021. My job helped me to give right direction to my career because during my teaching profession I
got opportunity to meet new people and got chance to think about new career possibilities. My teaching career made
me fond of reading business magazines to go through the profiles of leading business executives and successful
entrepreneurs. And it was clear to me from there that a strong majority of them started early in their business careers
so I also decided to “get my feet wet” and decided to pursue for MBA. Hard-work, dedication, and determination are
my best friends which reflect very well in my resume and I constantly worked hard to achieve the best in my
academics. An MBA can open up new avenues and provide me with new skills in the workplace. MBA is prefect
program to move my career towards progression as I can take my career to a management department. Now I
want to take my career one step ahead for which MBA program is the right choice for me as this program will
open more new opportunities for me.

After considering all the points, I made a choice to pursue my MBA degree from reputed university and then add as
much as MNC’s companies work experiences in my resume because MBA degree helps in growing my career to great
heights. As I have noticed an individual with MBA degree is mainly given managerial position. So, when I made up
my mind to pursue my MBA degree from overseas only my 1 st step towards it was to clear PTE Exam and I
scored overall 60, L-61, R-56, S-58, and W-64. I believe that obtaining University Access program will benefit
me in two ways. 1st is that I will adjust in the environment of the education system of Canada and I will get
polished for University environment. When seeking work, proficiency and confidence in speaking and
understanding English will put me at a distinct advantage. I will effectively and grow in knowledge, skills and
confidence. I do choose to study English, my education is an investment and it is incredibly important that
derive exceptional value for my money.

Why did I choose to study in Canada?

Every year lakhs of students enrol themselves in the Business programs because of its productivity and utility and I am
no exception to this. The welcoming tendency of this program which is open for all candidates had already infatuated
me towards it but it was still a prudent choice what remained unaddressed was the selection of right program and
right platform. On the one hand, I have the comfort of living and studying in my native country. On the other, the
attraction of a foreign degree, global exposure, and excellent research opportunities is equally good. I was not willing
to do a traditional MBA from India because there is a very little space for creativity and practical connotations. Local
institutes are not capable of generating career ready candidates for the job market thus the potential of a MBA tag
gets diminished. It is also a certain fact that there are institutions like IIM-Ahmadabad, Xavier School of
Management etc. in India which are known for the quality of their education system but it requires cracking
competitive examination like CAT, SNAP etc. The written exams are followed by Group Discussion and
Personal Interview round in order to secure a seat in them. In India, the Masters in Business Administrations is just
considered as a degree, it is not considered as a professional course. The MBA degree in India is so theoretical that it
didn’t electrified me. I wanted to do the MBA in a more practical environment, to gain more experience from the
professionals. Firstly I started searching universities in the USA include: Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Wharton,
Chicago Booth and Columbia Business Schools Then my further study for USA revealed that an MBA in USA
from good university will cost me anything between 50-60 lakhs and on top of that the living cost in USA is sky
touching. Therefore MBA in USA will be very expensive and don’t wanted to take such huge amount of
education loan, that will take 5-10 years for me to repay it. That is when during my research Canada came in
my existence.

Institutions in Canada offer a wide variety of courses and degrees, so it wasn’t hard for me to choose a course
which is appropriate for me. Studying in Canada enables to use the initiative and develop independence as
learners. Canada offers a large multicultural group from where I can develop my professional skills and will
learn how to work in a workplace. I was fascinated by the amount of research that was taking place in almost every
area of study and how the programs were constantly evolving. Canada is home to some of world-class
internationally recognized MBA programs that are guaranteed to build and boost professional careers of
students. After Finalizing the country my next step was to proceed towards the top universities in Canada with the
required Master degree program. Canada is one of the world’s biggest educational hubs for a variety of courses. Due
to its unique mix of different cultures both eastern and western all under one roof, Canada is one of the best options
for International exposure and global relations. I am certain that Canada will offer the best choice for me.

Research for University Canada West:

While choosing University and Program my professor asked me to look at programs from two perspective-
attractiveness and educational quality. Established in 2004, University Canada West (UCW) is Canada’s contemporary
independent university with a clear vision for keeping students best interests at the heart of everything and committed

professional lives. After having gone through the course contents, I found them very exciting and the institute has
great support system for students. This university made a real impact on me because of the warm and friendly

of Canada and focus on excellent teaching and advanced learning. The education provider offers high quality degrees
programs in wide range of accreditations and designed with industrial connections. It’s highly skilled staffs offering
world class education to its students which help them in becoming professionals. Even I had really good email
conversations with Rupal Malhotra who is Team Leader, Student Recruitment Advisor at University Canada
West, I got support and guidance at every step regarding my course and admission related processes. This all
experience gave me the surety of its highly known supportive nature for international students. The reason for
me to choose University Canada West is that the courses offered in its focus on operational skills and
management practice helps me to develop into dedicated professionals with qualifications that are highly
recognized.

This university is providing me MBA Foundation program before I start with my MBA degree as my previous
academic and work experience background is in different field and to open more career opportunities for me
in future, I decided for MBA program. But before starting with MBA degree I am getting opportunity to get
introduce to basic quantitative skills (e.g. basic algebra, statistics) that are important to core MBA courses like
operations and project management. Topics include the basic tools and techniques for understanding and
utilizing quantitative information for business decision-making. Through this type of study I can get to know and
interact in a relevant manner with colleagues, professors and teaching staff.

Why did I choose MBA program?

My MBA program opens up new avenues and new skills to work confidently and efficiently at the workplace of MNC’s
company. As I have already completed PGDCA course which equipped me with a sophisticated blend of technical skills
and now my MBA course will give me management skills. MBA will open up various career opportunities for me. It will
prepare me for senior management roles in business. And I will do this by exposing to all areas of business including
Financial Strategy, Accounting for Managerial Decision, Design Thinking and Business Transformation. An MBA is an
opportunity to increase and deepen the range of management skills. The program covers the latest trends and
influences in business and builds on your skills in critical thinking and analysis. I can gain access to the extensive
alumni network of that particular MBA program and of others. This extensive, well consolidate business network is
bound to pay off throughout my whole career making me the first-hand recipient of all relevant information in the
field and I will get better chances at seizing the best opportunities.

After completing an MBA degree I will be certified in all known core areas or at least some major managerial roles
within an establishment. This degree is one that is highly recognizable throughout the world. In future, I would like to
see myself at a managerial position where I can manage all the tasks in an organization with a well oriented manner.
The MBA program will help me to improve my communication skills which are very necessary for the business in
global market. Moreover I would like to do presentation in an orientation room by which I can attract others with my
ideas and will also like to improve the sales of the product of an organization.

Future Career Opportunities:

I strongly believe that having a global business degree will provide me advanced understanding of global business
techniques used to solve complex economy problems and the skills to run a business enterprise efficiently by the
specific organizations. Fortunately, in terms of growth and opportunities, the Indian economy looks much better than
its western counterparts. Back home, for jobs that require an MBA, I would be competing with other job applicants
who have graduated from the top MBA programs in India. My foreign MBA can be a differentiator, as the brand name
of my international university is strong, familiar and well-respected in the industry I am targeting. Today, every
business is going to expand itself in International market. It is the age of competition and everyone is trying to adopt
the money-making technique. To recognize in International market is one of the factors that show existence in a race.

I want to achieve more now and there are many schools management department and companies in India which
always prefer to hire candidates with qualification of PGDCA with MBA I would like to work in either the area of Sales
and Sr. Administration Level. The fields in which I can apply for job with experience in both the fields can work are:

My chances of getting selected in goods companies will also increase as I will improve my leadership and
management capabilities and learn to operate effectively in a changing, complex and dynamic environment. This
Course will help me to manage my own time and processes effectively and efficiently and I can become a professional
by reviewing my performance regularly.

Return of Investment: I share a very close bond and relationship my parents and their enormous support and
high level of motivation have been the major factor in my life. They have always been there for me through my thick or
thin and play a major role in my life to be a motivated and career-oriented person who drives me towards better work,
dedication and interest in fulfilling all projects I undertake. I have immense responsibility towards my family and
want to ensure that they are provided with all the luxury, security and care in their later phase of life.
Since no matter how high someone reaches, they should never forget their root, I have a strong feeling of true
nationalism and responsibility an individual bear towards building a nation, giving back to the society and becoming a
responsible, skilled and resourceful member in own country I will forever be deeply attached to my homeland. This will
also motivate to work vigorously towards completing all my educational dreams with excellence to return back to
unite with them. And with the international and globally accredited degree from Canada University, it will not be a
difficult task for me to get jobs in the different sector of India. I am also emotionally attached to the cultures and
festivals of India and never skipped one in my life. I will not be able to live away from my family during the
time for a long period.
To concluded with-I wish to turn my talent into my career as I have a dream to guide myself in a direction with a
definitive hope in my heart, I have claimed my opportunity to lay the first brick of my career at the campus of
University of Canada West, Canada. With the appropriate summary of the research I undertook to finalize University of
Canada West, financial documents which I have submitted for the embassy's ready reference and all the other
necessary documents to put to review, I further request the officer to approve me this student visa so that I initiate my
education at Canada. As Canadian degrees are recognized globally, I will not only be confided to the Indian job
market.
