The Time Traveler finally finishes working on the time machine, and it rockets him into the
future. When the machine stopped, in the year 802,701 AD, he found himself in a celestial
world of small humanoid beings called Eloi. They were frail and peaceful, and gave him fruit to
eat. He explored the area, but when he returned he found that the time machine was missing. He
decided that it had been inserted in the pedestal of a nearby statue. He tried to pry it open but
could not. At night, he began catching glimpses of strange white ape-like creatures Eloi call
Morlocks. He decides that the Morlocks live underground, down a well that is a scenic point.
Meanwhile, he saves one of the Eloi from drowning, and he befriends her. Her name is Weena.
The Time Traveler finally worked up enough courage to descend into the Morlocks' world to
try to retrieve the time machine. He found that the matches were a good defense against the
Morlocks, but eventually they chased him out of their territory. Frightened by the Morlocks, he
took Weena to try to find a place where they would be safe from the Morlocks' nighttime hunts.
He went to what he called the Green Porcelain Palace, which turned out to be a museum. There,
he found more matches, some camphor, and levers he could use as weapons. That night,
retreating from the Morlocks through a giant log, he accidentally started a fire. Many Morlocks
died in the fire and the battle that followed, and Weena was killed. Time travelers return to the
pedestal to find that it has been forcibly opened. He steps in confidently, and just when the
Morlocks think that they have been trapped, he springs into the machine and whizzes into the
future.

What I like best (if any) about the book :

My opinion and feelings about the book:

honestly i dislike the novel, When I first read it, I felt that the words were very difficult for me, Bobot nilai
And that sure enough. even the plot is good but what I don't like is that the word usage is very soal 40
difficult for me who is reading the novel for the first time. But, The storyline is good, telling
stories with the concept of time travel by using vehicles or devices to travel deliberately and
selectively forward or backward through time, And When I read it, I quite enjoyed it because
the plot was quite exciting.

BOOK REVIEW:

To be honest I am still fifty-fifty with this novel, what I like about this novel is that the story is very
exciting and smells of science fiction and a little about adventure, the plot is also good. It tells the
concept of time travel by using a vehicle (time machine) to travel, finding small creatures called eloi,
finding creatures similar to white apes called morlocks and others. But unfortunately I also don't like
this novel, the use of words is quite difficult for me to understand because I rarely read novels.
therefore this novel is quite difficult for me, maybe for people who like to read this novel it is easy to
understand, but back to the beginning because the story is quite exciting to read so I have a little effort
by translating the language that is less understandable to me. maybe that's all the book review from
me. thank you.
