I. Introduction

In accordance with Division Memorandum No. 229, Series 2023, this memorandum aims to provide
information and guidelines regarding the upcoming 2023 Children's Month Celebration within our
school division. This annual celebration is a significant event that underscores our commitment to the
welfare and rights of our children and youth.

II. Background

Children's Month, celebrated every November, is a time when we recognize and appreciate the
importance of children in our society. It is a month dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights and
well-being of our young learners. As part of our division's commitment to this cause, we are encouraged
to organize various activities and programs that will engage, educate, and inspire our students.

III. Objectives

The primary objectives of the 2023 Children's Month Celebration are as follows:

 Raise awareness about the rights and well-being of children.


 Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
 Celebrate the achievements and talents of our young learners.
 Foster unity and camaraderie among students, teachers, and parents.
 Provide opportunities for students to learn about various children's rights and issues.

IV. Activities
To meet these objectives, our school will organize a series of activities throughout the month of
November. These activities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Opening Ceremony: A special program to kickstart the month, featuring a parade, speeches, and
performances.
2. Workshops and Seminars: Sessions focused on children's rights, child protection, and other
relevant topics.
3. Art and Creativity Contests: Competitions in drawing, painting, and creative writing.
4. Sports Events: Various sports competitions to promote physical fitness and teamwork.
5. Advocacy and Outreach: Initiatives to support and help underprivileged children in our
community.
6. Culminating Program: A closing ceremony to highlight the achievements and talents of our
students.

V. Participation and Collaboration

We encourage all teachers, parents, and students to actively participate in the 2023 Children's Month
Celebration. We believe that by working together, we can create a memorable and meaningful
experience for our students.

In addition, we also encourage collaboration with local government units, non-governmental


organizations, and other stakeholders who share our commitment to the welfare of children. Their
support will enrich our programs and broaden our impact.
