I, __Raul Fernicol____________________________________ being a candidate for

Gattaran, Cagayan in the Barangay Sanguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE ) 2023 elections,
hereby manifest as follows;
I uphold the fundamental principle of national and social democracy where sovereignty
resides in the people from whom all government authority emanates:
I believe that the exercise of the right of suffrage is an act of sovereignty for the public good
and I obligate myself to the truth that the ballot is an expression of the sovereign will and that it is
sacred.
Therefore, as a worthy citizen of the Republic, I pledge;
TO THE VOTERS:
Not to corrupt them with money, goods or services;
Not to impose my will upon them by way of force or violence, threat or intimidation or the use
of private armed groups in any manner that destroys their power and freedom of choice.
TO MY FELLOW CANDIDATES:
To conduct my campaign in accordance with law and in the spirit of fair play and professional
rivalry, and
To participate in any public debate whenever called to by any non-partisan groups in order to
bring into light any intricacies in my campaign platform, programs as well as, my stand on any
relevant national or local issues with support of the Commission on Elections and to allow my
opponents equal opportunity to speak on their program.
AND TO GOD I RAISE A PRAYER:
‘Lord, in this political battle,
I ask but a field that is fair,
And the courage to strive and to dare
If I should win, let it be by the Code,
With my head and my honor held high,
If I should lose, let me stand by the road
