First: Interpret the underlined verse number 3 in your own words and refer to the reason of revelation.

group of Bedouins who came to see the Prophet (peace be upon him) from different parts of Arabia were so uncouth
and impolite that they would not take the trouble to inform him of their arrival through some attendant, but would
start shouting from outside the apartments of his wives to call him out. Several such incidents have been reported
by the companions in the Hadith. This sort of behavior troubled him much, but he was tolerant on account of his
natural clemency. At last, Allah had to intervene, Who reproved the people for their uncivilized behavior and gave
this instruction: Whenever they came to see the Prophet (peace be upon him) and did not find him, they should wait
for him patiently until he came out to them himself, instead of shouting to call him out, from the house.

Second:
Specify the reason of descending the ayah below and anticipate three difficulties that can ensue from hasty
judgments.

” Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo in jaaa'akum faasiqum binaba in fatabaiyanooo an tuseeboo qawmam bijahalatin
fatusbihoo 'alaa maa fa'altum naadimeen (6)”

Reason of Revelation: Narrate the story of Walid Bin Uqbah with Bani Ul Mustaliq

Anticipated difficulties that can ensue from hasty judgments:

False Accusations and Harm: Making hasty judgments based on unverified information can lead to false accusations
and harm to innocent individuals or groups. In the context of the verse, if the news about the Banu Mustaliq had been
false or exaggerated, it could have resulted in unnecessary conflict and harm to the tribe.

Damage to Relationships: Hasty judgments can damage relationships between individuals, communities, or nations.
When people act on unverified information, it can lead to misunderstandings and mistrust. In the case of the verse, if the
Muslims had acted on false information, it could have strained their relationship with the Banu Mustaliq.

Regret and Repentance: Acting impulsively based on unverified information can lead to regret and repentance once the
truth is known. This can result in a sense of guilt and a need for reconciliation. In the context of the verse, the believers
are warned not to repent for harming a people unwittingly due to hasty judgments.

a) His words SWT “O you who believe!” ْ‫ َٰ َٓيأ َ ُّي َها ٱلَّذِينَ َءا َمنُوا‬at the beginning of the address?

Starting with "O you who believe!" “a summons” indicating the magnitude of the matter to be
discussed which reinforces the idea that these guidelines are specifically meant for believers to
enhance their communal life and personal conduct. the phrase "O you who believe!" is significant as
it serves as a powerful way for Allah to address and guide the believers, emphasizing their faith,
responsibility, and the importance of following His guidance in various aspects of life. It plays a
central role in fostering a sense of community and promoting moral and ethical behavior among
Muslims.

-When speech opens with a ‘call’, this means something momentous is about to happen. -Addressing
a person using his good characteristics stimulates a person, raises his morale, and deters him/her
from erring.

b) “Restore peace among your brothers” “ ۡ‫?فَأَصۡ ِل ُحواْ َب ۡينَ أَخ ََو ۡي ُكم‬

Making peace and maintaining brotherhood is a part of deen as Muslims are like 1 body. the saying
"Restore peace among your brothers" underscores the importance of unity, conflict resolution, and
the promotion of moral and ethical values within the Muslim community. It serves as a guiding
principle for Muslims to work toward peace and reconciliation among themselves, fostering a sense
of brotherhood and cohesion within the ummah.
