Activity 1.

Question:

1. What are the differentiated business concepts that Jollibee won the hearts, minds, and wallets
of Filipino Consumers? Do you think these business concepts are effective in outgunning the
giant McDonalds? Explain your answer.

The marketing strategy of Jollibee Food Corporation is attraction and highly


commercialized using various media including TV, Radio, Newsprint and more, they must
have spend millions of their budget to stay on top of the mind of their customers
especially among the Filipino.

2. If you’re going to build your own Food Industry like Jollibee, what would be your business
concepts and why?

As we know, food is our primary need. We can resist from buying new clothes, but it will be hard to resist
hunger. This is why food business is one of the most profitable business in the world. Compared to other
sectors such as retail and fashion, the food and beverage industry is rising in popularity, So I think if I’m going
to build my own Food Industry it will be a popular food like Samgyupsal or Buffet so that people will notice and
gain many customers.
Activity 2.

1. What do you think is a very good business plan?

A business plan is a document that defines in detail a company's objectives and how it plans to
achieve its goals. A business plan lays out a written road map for the firm from marketing, financial,
and operational standpoints. Both startups and established companies use business plans.
Furthermore, a business plan can serve to keep a company's executive team on the same page
about strategic action items and on target for meeting established goals.

2. As an entrepreneur, what will be your criteria for hiring people? Why?

Ultimately, the best thing you can do to successfully hire employees for your
business is to be clear about your needs and wants for the position. As stated
above, investing extra time in updating and clearly defining your job description
will lay the groundwork for a successful hiring process.

3. Amidst this pandemic situation, what will be the best business for you to established?
Support and explain your answer.

In a pandemic, delivery services are essential. Due to the threat of COVID-19, people prefer someone to
buy things for them outside and deliver them to their homes. That's why delivery and “pasabuy”
businesses thrived.
