Rubric For Assessing Rubric For Assessing Quantitative Research Report

This rubric assesses quantitative research reports based on four criteria: 1. Clarity and significance of the research questions/objectives (20%) 2. Appropriateness of the methodology, sources, and analysis of data (30%) 3. Adequacy and alignment of the results, discussion, and conclusion with the research questions/objectives and methods used (30%) 4. Communication and mechanics (10%) Each criterion is scored on a scale from limited to exemplary based on indicators of quality. The rubric provides guidelines for evaluating research reports across these four criteria.

PRESENTATION OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT

The following serves as a guide for the presentation of the research project.

1. Title of the Study (includes the names, grade level, section, and strand of the authors) - 1 slide
2. Introduction (includes the Rationale of the Study and RRL) – 1 to 2 slides
3. Objectives of the Study (includes the Statement of the Problem /Research Questions) – 1 slide
4. Conceptual Framework (optional) – 1 slide
5. Methodology/Materials and Methods (includes the research design, environment, respondents, sources of data/instrument, and data collection procedures) – 1 to 4
slides
6. Results and Discussion – 1 to 5 slides
7. Conclusions – 1 slide
8. Recommendations – 1 slide
9. References – 1 slide

To ensure effective content of the presentation, there must be no more than 20 slides with no more than seven lines per slide and not more than seven words per line. Use a
bulleted list instead of paragraphs, so you don’t have to simply read from the slides.

Each group is allowed to present for 10-15 minutes only.

The presentation schedule is from December 12-15, 2022.

The final written research output will be submitted after the final examination period, tentatively on December 20, 2022.
