STANDARDS
USE FIELD
WINFLEX CEMENT SUPER is used for:
Waterproofing of concrete tanks suitable for containing water.
Elastic smoothing even on lightened concrete blocks.
Surface protection smoothing even on structures in contact with saline waters.
Leveling of viaducts and / or buildings attacked by carbon dioxide.
Smoothing over cracked plasters to avoid further degradation.
After hardening WINFLEX CEMENT SUPER, this becomes waterproof and resistant to
bad weather conditions, to frost and salts. It can be exposed.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove the degraded concrete and, if necessary, carefully sandblast or wash the
surface with a pressurized water jet, which must be free of salts, oils, greases, friable parts
and foreign or anti-adherent substances. Wet the substrate to excess before
application.
For the reinforcement and sealing of the corners, we recommend the application of
waterproofing butyl tape, coated with polypropylene non-woven, BC SEAL BAND.
For the waterproofing of emerging surfaces, plumbing pipes and drains in general, use
BC SEAL PAD, a butyl waterproof self-adhesive square.
Joints larger than 1cm must be sealed using a system consisting of WINJOINT FOAM
(compressible joint bottom), WINJOINT SEAL (polyurethane sealant) and WINJOINT
BAND as described below:
After creating the new joints or restoring the existing ones, insert WINJOINT FOAM inside
the joint to the desired depth and then extrude WINJOINT SEAL along the entire length
of the joint. Once the sealant has dried, apply WINJOINT BAND as previously described.
WARNINGS
No additives nor cement required.
Do not use if the container is damaged.
Do not apply on asphalt or bitumen treated surfaces.
APPLICATION
Mix well the two pre-measured components (insert the powder into the liquid) until a
homogeneous mixture is obtained. The product can be applied with a spatula, trowel,
brush or spray. Reinforce with a suitable fiberglass mesh, to be drowned in the first still
wet layer. Wait for complete drying (24 hours) before proceeding with the application
of the second coat.
After complete hardening (7 days from the last coat) it will be possible to fill with water,
after washing and drying the WINFLEX CEMENT SUPER’s surface.
KEYS:
1. Concrete substrate;
2. BC SEAL BAND, self-adhesive band;
3. First coat of WINFLEX CEMENT SUPER;
4. Anti-alkali net;
