Project Title
Spotify Canvas
Section 1: Rationale
(approx. 100 words) It’s telling us to make our Spotify Canvas, choosing a signer’s song, screen-record the canvas from 3-8 seconds
long, create a mind-map for our ideas of Spotify Canvas. 14th December 2023 is our due date to complete the
project. I am excited to learn all the new things about Spotify Canvases and do a screen-record of my favorite
song. Concentration, my amazing photoshop skills with editing and photos and videos / screen-recording. For my
video task I am going to work with Freya and we are thinking of doing one like Taylor Swifts one with a record of
ourselves either outside or inside in the green room ( if we are allowed ) .After we have done the 8 second video
we are then going to edit it into our own styles , I am doing my sort of galaxy themed with the bright vibrant
colors and mini animated drawings floating about , it is all sketched out into my head so I know what I am going to
do .
Brief is asking us about what we know about music, how it can be helpful when we create our own album cover,
select a song, help us finish it on time by the due date. I feel confident about doing this project, excited to see the
outcoming results of it all, when I am older, I want to do something like this as a career, creating album cover’s for
songs by the singer, it can give me multiple ideas along this project. The skills that I will need for the project is
concentration, photoshop skills, editing skills to help me get through this project by making a good outcome at
the end. Learning opportunities where learning is more information about photoshop, music techniques, different
types of genres about album covers and editing.
Section 2: Project
My main aim for this project that I am doing is to get lots of photoshoots and convert it into a

have chosen is ‘Fighter’ by Christina Aguilera. So that means I will have to get shots that has
a good response to the music video, I have watched the music video, and it mainly has more
of a dark font theme and the connotations of Christina’s attitude in the song, like the fake
dramatic punches, the dramatic Ness of it all so that it can be in response to my Spotify
Canvas. I am thinking of filming it in the theme of like early 2000s with like some neon colors,
misty fonts and the dramatic blue filters with a fuzzy camera. When I take the shots for my 8
second video, I will edit them in style of the filters I want to do so that it has
connotations/similarities as Christina Aguilera’s music video. The clothing for the video would
just be like casual clothing and what I mean by that is whatever we go to college in, we wear
for the video, you will see that in the early 2000s in most of their music videos, most of the
people that are in those music videos usually wear casual clothing. Even if its expensive
clothing or non-expensive it can show class, like what sort of class they are in or it could be
the video, the video may have expensive cars or something, what I mean is that the scene can
be based of class.
