Powerful Agents of Change
• Simple means used intentionally and effectively
• Public resistance and refusal, usually by under resourced resistance groups
• Well organized group efforts
• Passing of essential, forbidden knowledge between generations of change makers
• Recognizing that power takes many forms, and the working classes control/are the
livelyhood of the controlling classes
• Efforts must be prolonged, consistent, accessible throughout contexts, and effective
at both getting attention and undermining core efforts of oppression
• We absolutely must be there to support each other in mindful efforts that ensure our
mutual protection and safety when facing oppression
• Everyone has their own specific roles, and it is dangerous to act thoughtlessly or
without excellent communication between allied change makers (even if you are
isolated in your specific contexts)
