How Technology Influenced My Life as a Learner
As a learner, technology influenced my school life as a tool for new information I've to search.
In my elementary days, I didn’t have any phone yet, just a library with a simple book and a full of
wisdom teachers are enough for us, little children. In my high school life, I didn’t have an android
phone. I am not so aware about having any social media platforms and having searched on the
internet but while my grade level slowly rising, I wanted to have a Facebook and I needed to search
for my assignments, projects, etc. on the internet for my studies. I often go to the computer shop and
get good news; I had a small cheap phone. Technology is very useful and helpful for us as learners.
And now in my college life, this is the time I really need technology for my studies. I even need
Facebook because they often announce there and if you don't back read in the messenger, you will
be outdated. But as a learner I had some advice for my fellow learners. Well, we are all learners
because our life is giving us a lesson that we need to learn and that is the extension of our learning,
not just in our academic schools. Anyway, use technology wisely or else technology will be wisely to
use us. I mean, if we don't control technologies, technologies will control us. If we don't use it in the
right way, we will be influenced by the technologies in a bad way.
How will I use Technology When I Become a teacher?
As a future teacher, I will use technologies for my future students for advance education in our
modern generation, mostly to the millennials who feel like technology is their life. Youth today feel like
technology is part of their/our life or maybe technology is their/our whole life. Now, I will make my
future students realize that technology is not just for what they want in life, but also for what they need
the most for their own learning. I will make sure that I will guide them using it. I will be open for any
corrections and new learning from my students. I will let my future students use social medias to get
some/new information’s, suggestions, opinions etc. from their social media's friends so that their
friends have a participation and be involve for their learnings and in that way, they were equally
learned.

We can’t deny the fact we this nowadays, we can’t live without the use of technology. Even if we are
doing something we use technology, technology nowadays means a lot to us.

A. Reflect on the question: How does the role of technology change the teaching-learning
environment?
It has allowed for more effective and efficient communication between teachers and
students, between teachers and parents, and between and among students. Additionally, it has
enabled educators to provide more engaging and interactive lessons that better meet the needs of
students. Technology also increases student engagement, which can lead to better retention of
information. Additionally, technology can enhance self-esteem and excitement about learning,
bring students together through discussion and collaboration tools, and have a positive impact on
society.
