Configuration for SAP Customer Activity Fiori Apps to Retrieve

Parameters from SAP Fiori Launchpad Designer

SAP Smart Business on Suite on HANA is not supported with SAP Fiori front-end server 2020 for SAP
S/4HANA. This restriction impacts the KPI tiles for SAP Smart Business for Multichannel Sales Analytics in
SAP Customer Activity Repository. To be able to configure and query the apps, you use SAP Fiori
launchpad designer to set the required configuration parameters.

In SAP Fiori launchpad designer, search for the SAP_CAR_BC_CATEGORY_MANAGER catalog (if using
the business configuration role) or the SAP_ISR_CAR_TC_A catalog (if using the technical
configuration role). Either catalog displays the tiles for the SAP Customer Activity Repository Fiori apps
and their associated target mapping configuration.

The configuration parameters in the target mapping section are picked up by the applications to run
them, and to load data based on the defined values. Note that with this new configuration the tiles are
static.

The default values for the configuration parameters are defined in the table below. Adjust them as
required.

Parameter Default value Explanation

P_SAPClient 800 Enter the client that you use in your SAP
S/4HANA or SAP ERP system. An entry in
this field is required.
P_DisplayCurrency USD Choose the currency in which amounts
should be displayed. Ensure that the
exchange rates for this currency exist in
your SAP ERP system. An entry in this field
is required.
Parameter Default value Explanation
P_ExchangeRateType M Choose an exchange rate type that is used
to convert the currency into the display
currency. The current date is used as the
date for the currency conversion. An entry
in this field is required.
P_CriticalThresholdPercent 20 Enter a percentage of tolerable variance
between the current period and previous
period results. Any value below this
threshold will be flagged as critical. An
entry in this field is required.
P_PeriodType W Choose a period type for which the average
transaction value amount should be
displayed. The supported period types are:
 W for the current week
 M for the current month
 R to specify a range using the
P_CurrentPeriodStartDate
and
P_CurrentPeriodEndDate
parameters
If a period type other than W, M or R is used,
no information will be displayed.
P_CurrentPeriodStartDate When using the range period type (R),
enter the start date for the period for which
the average transaction value amount
should be displayed. The start date must be
in the YYYYMMDD format.
P_CurrentPeriodEndDate When using the range period type (R),
enter the end date for the period for which
the average transaction value amount
should be displayed. The end date must be
in the YYYYMMDD format.
ECC NO Enter the type of SAP ERP system to be
used, either SAP ERP (ECC) or SAP S/4HANA.
The default is SAP S/4HANA, so ECC is set
with the value NO. If you’re using SAP ERP
and not SAP S/4HANA, change the ECC
value to YES.
