PROTEUS:
The Proteus Design Suite is a
proprietary software tool suite used
primarily for electronic design
automation. The software is used
mainly by electronic design
engineers and technicians to create
schematics and electronic prints for
manufacturing printed circuit boards.
Using this software we
can design different circuit.
Proteus has a rich library of
component which includes
microcontroller, Different types of
voltage source etc. By using this
software we can make
stimulated circuit to check before
start it in lab.

USES STEPS:
1. Open Proteus ISIS Schematic
Capture.
2. Select the Component Mode from
the left Toolbar.
3. Click On P (Pick From Libraries)
4. Add all the required components.
5. Place the components on the
workspace.
6. Wire up the circuit.
7. Click on Play Button on the
bottom left to start simulation

CONCLUSION:
This lab helps us to know about the
Proteus software and the use of
Proteus software for
different circuit simulation. In circuit
lab we have to deal with different
electrical component and
we have to perform experiments as
well. It is a better way to understand
circuit before
implementing it on the breadbo
Simulation of Proteus by Zain Ahmed:
Procedure for Hardware:
First of all, connect a potentiometer to the breadboard.
Connect the first and last terminal of potentiometer with battery.
And center and first terminal with multimeter and measure voltage across terminal a,b.
Find the resistance Rab using formula:
Vab = Rab x Vo / Rac
Set the voltage at 2,4,6,8,10 etc. and measure the resistance of Rab.
Simulation of Hardware:
When voltage is 8V
Resistance when v=20V Resistance when v=2V
When voltage is set to 2V Resistance when v= 4V
Resistance when V= 6V Resistance when V=10V
When V=10V Resistance when V=10V

Learnt Lesson:
By Zain Ahmed:
I learned how to integrate potentiometers into circuits and observed the impact of changing resistance on
circuit parameters during the Proteus simulation.
The potentiometer acts as a voltage divider, allowing for the adjustment of output voltage.
Understand the usage of proteus.
