Jobseeker’s visa

This is a visa for university graduates from countries outside the EU which enables them
to come to Germany for up to six months for the purpose of seeking employment
commensurate with their qualifications.

General information on graduate immigration is available via the portal for qualified
professionals www.make-it-in-germany.com

For your application the following documents are required in the original (+ 2 copies):

• valid national passport (with copies of pages which are not empty)
• valid Belgium residence card
• a certificate of good conduct from the Belgium police (Certificat de bonne
conduite, vie et mœurs / Getuigschrift van goed zedelijk gedrag)
• a residence certificate from the Belgian city hall (Certificat de
résidence/Getuigschrift van woonst)
• Curriculum vitae of professional career, specifying the certificates, diplomas, etc.
you have obtained
• German university degree or recognised foreign degree comparable to a German
degree
• a letter of motivation providing information on the planned course of action to
secure a job (sector, region, intended place of residence/accommodation etc.)
• any additional evidence of your preparations to secure a job that can already be
provided.
• a proof of means of subsistence (for example bank details of the past 3 months,
proof about opening of a blocked account in Germany, etc.)
• a proof of health insurance for Germany
• 2 biometrical passport pictures (not older than 3 months)
• € 75,00 cash
• Application form and declaration in accordance with section 54 (2) of the
Residence Act, both properly filled in:
