Engineering Manager Operations Director
Role Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our large construction company in
Saudi Arabia. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of
engineers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead a team of engineers, including hiring, training, and performance
management:
Develop and maintain a high-performing engineering team that meets or exceeds company
expectations.
Identify and recruit top engineering talent, and ensure that all team members receive adequate
training and development opportunities.
Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members, and
implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures, and standards to ensure
consistent project delivery:
Develop and maintain engineering policies, procedures, and standards that align with company
goals and objectives.
Ensure that all engineering design and construction activities comply with regulatory
requirements and company standards.
Continuously improve engineering processes and practices to enhance project delivery, quality,
and customer satisfaction.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications:
Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project
requirements, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Collaborate with project teams, including project managers, site engineers, and construction

supervisors, to ensure engineering designs and specifications are feasible and constructible.
Approve engineering designs and specifications that meet client requirements, country
regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, including operations, procurement, and finance,
to ensure seamless project execution and delivery:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all project activities are aligned with project
goals and objectives.
Work closely with project managers to ensure that engineering designs and specifications are
consistent with project schedules and budgets.
Work with procurement and finance teams to ensure that project materials and resources are
procured and managed efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams:
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including project managers, site
engineers, and construction supervisors, to ensure that all engineering activities are executed
according to project requirements and company standards.
Resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution.
Identify and implement engineering solutions that enhance project delivery and customer
satisfaction.
• Monitor and control project engineering & design budgets and schedules:
Monitor project engineering & design budgets and schedules to ensure that relevant activities
are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Identify and mitigate relevant project risks and issues that may impact project delivery, quality,
or customer satisfaction.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address project issues and ensure successful project
delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and
quality assurance requirements:
Ensure that all engineering activities comply with health and safety standards, environmental
regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that all engineering designs
and construction activities meet or exceed quality standards.
Ensure that all project activities are executed in a safe and environmentally responsible

manner.
• Conduct regular project reviews and performance evaluations:
Conduct regular project reviews to ensure that projects engineering activities are on track and
meeting project goals and objectives.
Conduct performance evaluations of project engineering teams and activities to identify areas
for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Provide regular status updates to senior management and other stakeholders.

Master’s / Bachelor in Civil Engineering 15+ years
Certification / Diploma (Preferred):
