The training is intended for 150 undergraduate scholars currently enrolled in Universities in Regions I! and tI, ‘The training is composed of workshops on self-awareness, core values of a Filipino patriot scholar, leadership skills, community organization, formalizing of scholars association, and interactive teambuilding activities. The objectives of the leadership camp are the following: 1. To foster patriotism and nationalism among DOST-SEI scholars and instill in them the core values of professional excellence, social responsibility, and servant leadership; To capacitate the scholars with leadership and organizational skills; To foster camaraderie and solidarity among science ‘scholars; and To formalize scholars association to strengthen linkagesinetworks in sustaining volunteering initiatives for community development. In view of this, may we request your permission to allow thirty (30) DOST-SEI scholars (Please see attached list of Scholars) enrolled in your university to participate in the training and be excused from their classes during the said period. As a participant, he/she ‘shall be wided with training kits, meals, and accommodation for the duration of the activity.
