Lab 3 Force and Acceleration

The document contains data from an accelerometer and force measurements over time as impacts were applied to a device. The accelerometer data showed variations in mean acceleration and standard deviation with each impact. Force measurements generally increased with each impact. Analysis of the data supported relationships shown in a lab between gravity, force, and acceleration. Error analyses were also included to determine uncertainties in measurements of mass, frictional force, and other values.

The time was constant in the accelerometer graph but the

mean varied due to the changes. the standard deviation
wasn't constant but stayed with the range of 0.030 to 0.20.
The acceleration was negative most of the time accept the
initial rst time. The slope varied partially but didn't experience
a signi cantly altering change.

The Accelerometer showed a constant "up and down" linear

change. The force did the same except for the fact that it got
larger and increased every time. The accelerometer showed
the data from the acceleration changing and the force showed
the gradual increase of force overtime.

Force and acceleration increased greatly overtime because of

the impact on the IO lab device. The data points are from each
individual impact.

Conclusion
The accelerometer measured the pull of gravity at rest and
then measured it once there was an impact as above 10. This
is due to gravity, being a force on objects. The data supported
the relationships that were shown in the lab.
