E864x8 Ed3

This document provides standard rolled profiles for fishplates used with UIC 54 kg/m and 60 kg/m rails. Appendices 1-4 detail the profiles for fishplates matching UIC 54, 60, 54E, and 60E rail types, including dimensions like weight per meter (G), cross-sectional area (F), moments of inertia (Jx, Jy) and static moments (Wx, Wy). The profiles became effective standards on certain dates for each rail type. Railways in the International Union of Railways are required to use these standards, with an exception granted to Deutsche Bahn. The profiles were standardized through discussions at various committee meetings of the UIC from 1959-1982.
