THE CAREFREE
GRASSHOPPER

The grasshopper spends the


summer in leisure and play,
neglecting the need for
preparation. This reflects the
folly of carelessness and the
danger of short-term
thinking.
Once upon a sunlit meadow,
there lived a carefree
grasshopper. His days were
filled with merry tunes and
leisurely hops, not paying
attention to the changing
seasons.
On the flip side, a
hardworking and smart ant
worked tirelessly, collecting
food and preparing for the
approaching winter. She
knew the importance of
planning ahead and hard
work.
Ignorance
One time, on a sunny day,
the grasshopper saw the
ant carrying grains for its
stack for the coming winter.
The lazy grasshopper
ignored the ant though, and
continued playing on its
violin.
Lesson learned
The winter came, the lazy and carefree
grasshopper shivered not just because of
the cold, but the energy-eating hunger it
was bearing. There he stood in the front
of the ants door begging for food. The
ant, being a considerate and merciful,
gave the poor and hungry grasshopper
food. That is the time where the
grasshopper realized how important it is
to stack food for winter
Conclusion
The story, ”The ant and the grasshopper” is about a
carefree grasshopper and hardworking ant. Based on
their trait, grasshopper played tunes and melody with
his violin all summer, while the ant, worked and worked
just to stack up food for the winter. Winter came, and
the grasshopper got no food and went to the ant to ask
for some, the ant, being a considerate one, gave him
food. That is the time where he realized how important it
is to stack up food for the winter.
Moral Lesson
“In life, planning and hard work lead to success, while
neglecting responsibility often brings regret. The ant’s
lesson is simple: Be prepared for the future by making
wise choices today.”
