Theme: Face IT

 The Dabar today isn’t to trigger your emotional being but rather awaken
your spirit to the will of the father Almighty.
 As a result, the decision you will make as an individual will be from a sober
mind standpoint and not out of emotions.
 You are going to Face It- (spiritual, financial, emotional, social and any kind
of problem or issue you are having) and not run from them ; running away
from a problem further creates more problems.
 Kidlin’s Law- suggests that a problem written down clearly is half solved.
 Financially- you can’t service your liabilities with a loan but rather accept to
live within your means and increase your streams of income among others.
 Emotionally- Murphy’s Law suggests that the more one fears about
something the more the likelihood of it happening ; problem identified-
fear…
 Social- poverty ; one of my former schoolmate said, “I want to work hard so
that my kids won’t refer to other kids as rich kids” ( That was his motivation
to chase away laziness of any kind )
 Spiritual- are faced by running to the creator, Matthew 11:28 NIV“Come
to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” ;
most automobile engineers point out that most vehicles have a short
lifespan due to the owner. Eg. You have a Mercedes Benz S-class but end
up giving it a C-class service or rather for a proper service your machine
demands the 10k type of oil but you adamantly suggest the 5k one will still
do OR the owner taking it to a quack technician in order to “save money” ;
cheap is expensive. And therefore we as the owners of our own lives tend
to try to face most of our problems but the best way we know how yet
there is the manufacture whose warranty does not expire he is the same
yesterday today and forever more; draw closer to him.

 Hebrews 10:22 AMP “Let us approach (God) with a true and sincere heart
in unqualified assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from
 an evil conscience and bodies washed by pure water. (Right attitude,
correct heart posture and righteousness)
 John 7:38 AMP “He who believes in Me (who adheres to, trusts in, and
relies on Me), as the scripture has said, From his innermost being will flow
continually rivers of living water.”
 The New Testament uses water as an image of the Holy Spirit (who is our
helper )
 And therefore as we return back to God through prayer, reading of the
word and living a life of worship (worthy before Him), he wants to have a
personal and intimate relationship with Him by first allowing your bodies to
be washed by pure water (total surrender and yielding to the guidance of
the Holy spirit)
 Scientists say a human being can survive without food for long period but
not without water for maximum of 3 days.
 To some our relationship with him has seized to be flavored as it used to be
because yes, our effort/input and commitment slowly faded; Eg. 1 month
old relationship vs 3 year old relationship.
 “Keep the fire alive and burning by serving the lord” – Romans 12:11
 Go back to the first days where you trusted and had home in him ; He is
calling you to a point of reconciliation with Him.
 He is still there for you; David wrote and said his steadfast love and mercies
endureth forever.
 In those dark phases of life you are going through did you know: His word
is the lamb to your feet and light to your path? Psalms 119:105
 Be it in muddy road, dusty road, dark path or any kind of condition, you
need to master the art of walking with the lamb so that you don’t step on a
slippery surface and trip or fall in a pit.
 Is the addiction to miraa a problem or rather you took the phrase
“searching for greener pastures” too serious? He is still able to save.
 Greener pasture isn’t a geographical location but rather you yielding to the
lead of God for he is the good shepherd that makes us lie on green pastures
and leads us beside still waters Psalms 23:2
 Question is when facing it, where is your focus? Psalms 121:1-2 KJV I will
lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help
cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.
 In the aviation field, when pilots are told not to hit the obstacle they will
because they focused on it same as to when you instruct a child to not eat
on the bed , they will to just see what will happen instead you instruct
him/her to eat on the table.
 Yes, you have faced it by running , returning or drawing closer to him in
truth, with a heart clean from any evil conscience, allowed your body to be
washed by the pure water-( total surrender to the guidance of the Holy
Spirit ) with a desire to hear from Him but how many minutes/hours do you
take in his presence but still claim quality time in a relationship to be your
love language!!
 I don’t know about you all but for me back then, I used to have this
pressure and frustration of wanting to minister powerfully like minister so
and so and therefore trying and searching for a workable formula
 In Psalms 119:130 AMP The unfolding of Your (glorious) words give light;
Their unfolding gives understanding to the simple (childlike)
 The workable formula is in the secret place , secret chambers ; William
McDowell in his song falling on my knees he says some things he couldn’t
see ,he can see them clearly and understand better by be act of bowing and
talking to his creator, father, king, healer, provider, sustainer, protector
 Have / desire to a personal experience with Him ; you mean you can afford
to be texting everyday, craving for attention , quality time with your
partner but not do so with God? You are Jealous when he/she looks at the
opposite gender in a certain way but fail to know that your God is a
Jealous God and won’t want you to worship any other being but Him?
100% committed having trust on each other but can’t offer the same to
God?
