(LECA) 2023 Enhancing Elevator Performance and Efficiency through Assistant Manager
(Wed) IoT-enabled Solutions IoT & Innovation
Otis
Content
What is IoT-enabled solutions:
The IoT systems enable the capturing and transmission of elevator
data to the cloud. This data can be monitored by the system,
allowing field staff to remotely access and review the information
without the need to physically visit the elevator jobsites.
Additionally, customers can easily view elevator performance data
through a web portal. Moreover, the system can send alerts in the
event of abnormal conditions, facilitating prompt attention to
issues and minimizing unexpected downtime.
What tools are avaliable:
The globally developed applications equipped with cloud
computing capabilities, allowing the collected data from mobile
devices to be sent to the cloud for further analysis and enabling
scalability. On the other hand, the locally developed tools are
designed to suit for specific local needs, emphasizing fast response
times.
Use enhanced process to strengthen service quality:
By establishing connections with field operations, call centers, and
sales, the system enables a faster response to customer inquiries.
It facilitates real-time updates on the status of service calls and
allows for the delivery of more personalized offerings.
