WHY QUALITY CONTROL?
 Manufacturing process is a depending on
both controllable and non- controllable
factors.

 QC is the process of verification , or correction of


the quality of the product when deviations are
found to be more than expected.
WHAT IS QUALITY CONTROL?
• “Those planned and systematic actions which
provides a mean to control and measure the
characteristics of a product, process or a service
to established requirements.”
QUALITY CONTROL AS PER ISO:

 “The operational techniques and activities that are


used to satisfy qualityrequirements.”

 The quality control system verifies and maintains


desired level of quality in an existing product or
service by careful planning, use of proper
equipments and continued inspection and
corrective action as required.
WHAT IS QC INSPECTION

 The ISO standard defines inspection as “activityof


measuring, examining, testing one or more
characteristics of a product or service and
comparing the results with specified requirements
in order to establish whether conformity is
achieved for eachcharacteristic.”

It is a very important quality of Q.A / Q.C


person. A quality person must be honest. He
must not certify what he does not believe to be
true.
2- Color Blindness

The quality person should not be color blind.


His color vision should be perfect & he should
not have any color vision deficiency.
4- Learning Ability

It is often said that master of everything is


master of none.
No one knows it all. Some people think they
do, but they don’t. Employers are looking for
the people that are willing to learn & develop
their skills.
Professional Qualities
1- Communication Skills

Q.A / Q.C person must have good


communication skills. So he can communicate
all problems in a well manner & thoroughly
for better corrective action against the
problem.
4- Technical Person

A quality person must be technically strong


person. He must know the techniques of work.
He must have the knowledge of other subjects
related to his work.
6- Management System

An quality person must have the knowledge of


management information system. It helps him
to understand the internal set up of the
business & also make the communication
more effective.
8- Leadership
Skills

This skill is very vital that shows that you are


a visionary. You can lead others & also can
take responsibilities whether things go wrong.
