IN MS WORD
 INTRODUCTION

Microsoft Word is a word processor

application developed by Microsoft. It is
the most commonly used word processor
that has an advanced features which
allow you to format and edit your files and
documents in the best possible way.
 INSERT TAB

The Insert Tab in Microsoft Word With Insert tab, you can add items
has a lot of features that will let to the document such as Pages,
you insert objects in the documents, Tables, Illustrations, Microsoft
such as – pages, charts, pictures, Add-ins, Media, Links, Comment,
symbols, tables, shapes, hyperlinks, Header & Footer, Text, and
etc. Symbols.

PAGES GROUP
The Pages Group contains features
to insert a Cover Page, Blank Page,
or a Page Break to your document.

TABLES GROUP
It has one icon with many features.
Users will have the option to insert a table
by selecting how many row and column cells.
The maximum size you can drag is 10 by 8.

ILLUSTRATIONS GROUP
The Illustrations group enables you
to add several types of graphics
to enhance your Word documents.

ADD-INS GROUP
The Add-ins group in Microsoft Word is a
place where various plugins or optional
programs that run inside of Microsoft Word
can be installed and run. The default add-in
installed is Wikipedia, which allows Wikipedia
to be searched and text/photos/objects
selected to be inserted into the Word
Document.

MEDIA GROUP
The Media group contains one function,
“Online Videos”. Users can insert video into
their documents that can be played by the
user. In this way, MS Word takes on
characteristics of a webpage by allowing
rich levels of interactive media to be
displayed in a document.

LINKS GROUP
allows the user to create a hyperlink to a
website, email address, or a specific
location in the document. It is expected
that any website that is written in a
document be hyperlinked. A document
appears to be correctly hyperlinked if its
color is blue and it is underlined.

COMMENTS GROUP
The comments group is useful when the
user wants to place a note in the
document for themselves or another
user that they do not want to be printed.

HEADER AND FOOTER GROUP

It controls the text that is displayed at
the top and bottom of every page of a
document. The top of every page is the
Header Row. The bottom of the page is
the Footer Row.

TEXT GROUP
It allows users for the insertion of a
variety of text options. Text Box
allows the user to insert a textbox in a
specific space in Microsoft Word. Once
inserted, Word treats the text box as
a picture in that the text can be
resized, moved around, and reshaped
in relation to other text on the screen.
 INSERT TAB

SYMBOLS GROUP
allows the user to insert an equation or
symbol. The Equation option will allow the user
to insert a mathematical equation into the
document, which is helpful when trying to display
complex math problems inside Word. Symbols
are the special characters that allows for
Word to provide options for thousands of
symbols and characters to be added to the
document or text group.
 CONCLUSION
Microsoft Word includes extensive documentation
and contains hundreds of powerful built-in features
that many people do not even know. Always try to
use the built-in features correctly. The insert tab's
name fits its function well. Anything you think you
might want to add to a word document, utilize the
insert tab to put the extra features into your
document. Using tabs allows you to have more
flexibility over text positioning.
