1. Relative to DepEd Memorandum No. 001, s. 2024, Implementation of Catch-
up Fridays, this Office announces the conduct of the production of Blue Rizal TV
Episodes: Catch-Up Fridays Storytelling Activities on January 29-30, 2024, Monday
and Tuesday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at PAT Studio.
2. Blue Rizal TV Episodes: Catch-up Fridays Storytelling Activities aims to
produce storytelling activity videos to promote Drop Everything and Read (DEAR)
Day as part of the Catch-up Fridays of the Department of Education.
3. Participants in this activity are the assigned Public Affairs Team members.
Enclosure 1 presents the detailed list of participants.
4. The said episodes shall be aired as scheduled. Enclosure 2 presents the
schedule of airing of the episodes.
5. Transportation, food, and other incidental expenses that will be incurred
relative to the activity shall be charged against division/school MOOE or local funds
whichever is available subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.
6. Due to the urgency and exigency of the matter, school heads of the teacher
participants are encouraged to employ online or hybrid modality for the affected
classes of the teachers participating in the activity to ensure no disruption of classes
in compliance with DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022, titled School Calendar and Activities
for the School Year 2022-2023 and DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005, titled Instituting
Measures to increase Engaged Time - on - Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
