Scholarship Information - RCSI Bahrain

The scholarship application form will be available in April 2024 and applicants must submit the online form by May 31st, 2024. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must have a full or conditional offer to RCSI Bahrain's undergraduate medicine program and satisfy eligibility criteria. Applicants must also write two short essays of 300-400 words each on how they could make an impact in their community and how they would help address their country's main health problem or modern ethical issues faced by doctors. A reference letter from a volunteer supervisor must also be submitted.

Medicine Scholarship

The scholarship application form will be available on our website at the beginning of April 2024.
Applicants must complete and submit the online application form by 31st May 2024 – midnight
(12:00 AM) Bahrain time.
To be considered for a scholarship:

• Applicants must be in receipt of a full or conditional offer for RCSI Bahrain's


undergraduate medicine programme and satisfy the qualifying criteria as outlined on
our website.
• Write two short essays of approximately 300 to 400 words.
Essay 1
Describe how you could make an impact on your community and what you will bring to
the student body in RCSI Bahrain as a recipient of an RCSI Bahrain Medicine Scholarship.
Essay 2
Write an essay on one of the topics outlined below:
- Describe what you consider to be your country's main health problem and how,
as a doctor, you would help to alleviate this problem.
- Describe the main ethical problems faced by doctors in the modern world and
how, as a doctor, you would approach them.
• Applicants must submit a reference letter from a supervisor in a volunteer/charitable
