Negative Effects Of Low Self Esteem
Currently, a significant amount of individuals with low self esteem in the world. Each
day this number increases because of the discouragement of uniqueness. Doctor Joe
Rubino stated, 85% of the world s population is affected by low self esteem. Recently,
the media, Adobe Photoshop, and professional modeling have become prevalent in lives.
These negative sources are the significant causes of this growing low self esteem. Social
media, magazines, the internet, and television shows advertise specific flawless
qualities. This behavior sabotages any courage to express as unique individuals.
People are greatly depending on the media to identify what appearances are superior.
The major problem with relying on the media is sending negative messages. Instead of
identifying perks, the media is averting their attention to a person s flaws. Flaws are
unnatural according to the media. Yet, it will state that everyone should feel confident.
Media sources should have no role in how one lives. It is promoting confidence but is
lowering it at the same time. The media expressing that people aren t suitable enough is
spreading hatred. This hatred is leading to low self esteem. Despite the media s beliefs,
individuals are unique and thus beautiful despite their flaws.Furthermore, any magazine
cover likely has a person with a perfect body on the cover. Although the usage of
Photoshop in the past to crop images or retouch the color, it has progressed into altering
facial and body features
School Funding Proposal
In my recent studies, they have shown how important school funding is to a community.
Many individuals rather have good schools and good education than other factors that
make up a community. What my research does not show is, what elements people do not
want the city spending a lot of money towards. So my question would be, how can my
community keep schoolfunding, but spend a smaller amount of money on the less
important community needs. For a person to find out where all the town money goes,
and what it is spent on, would be imperative for my area. This could show the community
what our city is spending the money on and what we do not need to spend money
towards. If the community does not want money coming out of the educationsystem, they
will be able to see what elements in the city that is taking from the school funding.
Also, they may see if our city is making the right decision by taking money out of the
school financing or if the community needs to come together and to make other
spending stop. I need to make sure I am extremely accurate on the data I collect. I need
to find primary sources and secondary sources to back up my information. So first off,
I would go to the local town hall to see if I can find news there. I would start off by
looking through records to see what the city s money is being used for and track keep
records of all my data. Then, I would ask to speak with a financial advisor for the city
and see if I can get any extra data from them. I would ask them questions such as what
does the city spend the most money on. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I believe these question will give me a clear answer of what I am trying to prove. These
inquiries will show what the community wants the city funds to be spent on. It also will
show how important people would want money to be devoted to educational funds. I
believe these questions will show a strong connection between the two
